The proposed new BEE Codes of Good Practice is getting all of us in this industry very excited. Enormous focus is being placed on the Basic Framework Changes proposed in the Revised Codes, with special attention to positive and negative implications that may have an impact on your existing BEE Scorecard. With the scorecard being reduced to 5 measurement elements, the impact of penalties for non-achievement of three basic BEE conditions is the biggest concern for most companies. While the Revised Codes are still in draft format, it is clear that the new framework and principles are here to stay. A change in the Codes can mean new strategies need to be derived and new targets to be met. THE “PLANNING AHEAD” WORKSHOP WILL BE HOSTED FROM 1 ST NOVEMBER – 15 DECEMBER 2012
