Make the first machine on your jobsite a Bobcat® loader or

excavator. Bobcat compact equip-ment is increasingly being used on construction jobsites from the ini-tial site clearing to excavating and grading, to final cleanup. Known for its versatility, Bobcat equipment is replacing larger, more expensive machines such as backhoe loaders, excavators and dozers which cost more to transport, operate, and maintain.

With so many job-matched at-tachments to choose from, Bobcat loaders and excavators can handle all aspects of site development. Remove debris with a powerful T300 compact track loader and land-clearing attachment, such as a flail cutter, chipper, brush saw or stump grinder. Then mount an in-dustrial grapple or root grapple to transport and load the debris into trucks. Compact track loaders push through mud, ride over sand and extend working seasons, enabling you to start working sooner when spring arrives and continue later into the fall.

Once the jobsite is cleared, your Bobcat loaders—such as the popular

EXCAVATING/GRADING

For precise digging, use a Bobcat CR600 laser receiver and an excava-tor to achieve better results. Reduce the time it takes to check your grade with a laser receiver mounted mag-netically to your excavator. Even the best excavator operators will be impressed by the improved effi-ciency and productivity of the laser and excavator combination. Choose a rotating grapple to handle loads from any angle or a clamp with a grapple to grasp and move mate-rial. Whether it is trenching with the bucket or backfilling with the excavator blade, you’ll save valu-able time on your next jobsite.

S185 skid-steer—may be equipped with a laser-guided box blade or grader attachment for precise ac-

curacy to ± 1⁄4-in. With that kind of accuracy, a loader with laser-guided attachment could save thousands in materials alone, not to mention labor and machine wear-and-tear. Money saved from the la-ser-guided attach-ment kit could pay for the attachment and loader in no time!

Use a compact track loader and combination bucket to efficiently clear a site.

A box blade attachment with laser controls delivers accurate grading.

Save time and money on your building jobsite with Bobcat®

compact equipment. Why wait for a subcontractor to do the job when you can do it yourself? Bobcat has countless machines that are perfect for the building market, includ-ing durable skid-steer loaders and compact track loaders, and the unique VersaHandler® telescopic tool carrier, plus more than 80 la-bor-saving attachments.

Put a Bobcat skid-steer loader to work with a hydraulic pallet fork attachment to load or unload pal-lets of building materials such as lumber, shingles, siding, fencing and block. Precise fingertip controls and vertical lift path on select mod-

els allow you to place the materials exactly where you need them, keep-ing your employees busy instead of hand-carrying building supplies.

With a VersaHandler telescopic tool carrier, you can easily backfill over foundations or basement walls with the extended horizontal reach. If you need to lift pallets of build-ing materials, Bobcat has three Ver-saHandler models to choose from with lift heights from 18 to 38 feet for accurate placement.

Keep jobsites up to code with some simple attachments for a skid-steer loader or VersaHandler telescopic tool carrier. Employ a silt fence installer or trencher attach-ment for erosion control. Attach an

angle broom to clean nearby streets and sidewalks, or mount a grapple bucket on a loader or tool carrier to collect garbage and load it in a Dumpster or truck.

If you’re anxious to get back to work after a rainstorm, Bobcat com-pact track loaders allow you to re-turn to work faster. Compact track loaders easily maneuver through mud, clay and sand. A durable track design with permanently lu-bricated idlers means Bobcat com-pact track loaders stand up in the toughest conditions with very little maintenance and no special tools required for daily service checks.

Lift more than 6,000 lb. of building materials over 30 ft. with a VersaHandler telescopic tool carrier.

A silt fence installer is a big time-saver to meet erosion control regulations.

Do more than ever before with a Bobcat® compact excavator and

labor-saving attachments on your next landscaping jobsite. Excava-tors offer numerous time- and la-bor-saving benefits to landscapers, from the machine’s compact size and attachment-carrying capabil-ity to its powerful digging ability and low ground disturbance. You’ll spend less time repairing yards and more time installing patios when you operate a compact excavator.

Eliminate hand labor when in-stalling hardscapes, such as con-crete patios. Excavate the area with a bucket attachment and load dirt directly into a hopper or loader bucket for easy removal. Bobcat Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) and Zero House Swing (ZHS) compact exca-vators excel in this kind of applica-tion because these jobsites often provide little room for operator error. Dig ponds in hard-to-reach

areas with an excavator and trench-ing bucket. Drive through fence gates and access backyard work-sites thanks to the machine’s nar-row width.

Reduce your labor costs and time with a rotating grapple attachment to lift and place rocks, then position them precisely with the excavator’s low-effort joystick controls. One operator can do the work of an en-tire crew in less time with a Bobcat excavator.

There’s nothing more frustrat-ing than not having enough room to work on landscaping projects. Achieve better reach to dig holes for trees and shrubs on slopes and over obstructions with an auger attachment. Leave the shovels and wheelbarrows in the truck when it comes to digging drainage systems. Save on materials and labor by do-ing the project with an excavator and trenching bucket.

Do More on Landscaping Projects with Bobcat Equipment

LANDSCAPING

An all-wheel steer loader can deliver landscaping materials without damaging turf.

Hardscaping made easy with a Bobcat excavator and 360 degree rotating grapple attachment.

It’s never been easier to handle odd-shaped landscaping objects, thanks to the clamp attachment. Grip broken concrete pieces, tree stumps and other objects with ease, and then load them directly into a truck for easy removal.

Partner your Bobcat excavator with an innovative A300 all-wheel steer loader to knock out land-scaping projects faster with mini-mal ground disturbance. Select all-wheel steering for the A300 to minimize tire wear and leave fin-ished surfaces intact. With standard features such as low-effort joystick controls, Speed Management and an accelerator foot pedal, operators can perform routine movements with precision. A 3,000-lb. rated operating capacity and vertical lift path enable the A300 to quickly unload intact pallets of sod or land-scaping block.

There’s never an off-season in facility management. Whether

you’re at a school, airport, golf course, resort, public works depart-ment or any company that main-tains grounds, Bobcat has all the tools you’ll need to stay on top of any situation.

The one-of-a-kind Toolcat™ util-ity work machine can handle all of your buildings and grounds maintenance projects. This versatile unit operates three dozen different attachments to maximize produc-tivity and save you time and labor costs. Keep your employees happy with an enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning for year-round comfort—they’ll work longer and get the job done sooner.

Fill the 2,000-lb. rated cargo bed with tools or supplies and drive just about anywhere with the all-wheel steer feature, minimizing turf dam-age on sensitive ground. Haul land-scaping materials, fertilizer or light equipment on a trailer behind the Toolcat utility work machine. Drive through mud, rocks or up hills with four-wheel drive traction.

Maintain high productivity with the Toolcat utility work machine with a wide variety of Bobcat® at-tachments. In the spring, clear over-grown brush and small branches with a Brushcat™ rotary cutter. Use the 72- or 90-in. mower attachment in the summer to mow lawns and athletic fields quickly and comfort-ably. Mount an angle broom or sweeper attachment to efficiently clear dirt and debris from side-walks, parking lots or bike paths. And in the winter, use your Toolcat machine to push or blow snow out of the way with a front-mounted

snowblower, snow blade or angle broom, then spread salt and sand with a rear-mounted spreader. There are more than three dozen at-tachments available for the Toolcat 5600 to make your job easier and keep your grounds looking their best.

Another option: the new Bobcat 2300 utility vehicle with the indus-try’s only RapidLink™ attachment system. Reduce manual labor with one of five attachments, such as a bucket for light digging or the pal-let fork for moving materials. Leave the shovels in the garage and clear snow easily from parking lots, side-walks and driveways with the 2300 and a whisker push broom or snow blade. When spring arrives, add a mower attachment and make quick

work of lawns, fields and rough ar-eas. It’s never been easier to trans-port employees, tools and supplies with a Bobcat utility vehicle. Load the cargo bed and deliver materials directly to your jobsite.

In addition to the Toolcat util-ity work machine and utility vehi-cles, Bobcat has skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, mini track loaders, VersaHandler® telescopic tool carriers, compact excavators and more than 80 different attach-ments to help you accomplish your grounds maintenance tasks. Think twice about hiring someone to do a project when you could maximize your equipment investment with an attachment that allows you to do it yourself.

A Toolcat 5600 utility work machine is the most versatile equipment for any buildings and grounds application.

Finally, there’s a rugged utility vehicle that does tasks.

Bobcat® loaders and attachments, especially laser-guided attach-

ments, will save you valuable re-sources on your next concrete flat-work project.

Demand for more accurate final grades is growing as the cost of materials rises and competition for business increases. Complete rough grades with a hydraulically adjust-able attachment such as a six-way dozer blade instead of a bucket. Then, separate yourself from com-petitors with a laser-guided at-tachment system. Choose from the box blade or grader attachments to match with a Bobcat skid-steer loader or compact track loader, achieving final grades as precise as ± 1⁄4-in. Even experienced operators cannot be accurate to ± 1⁄4-in. over the entire grade. If you’re off by a half-inch on a 300-ft.-by-300-ft.

slab, the extra 138 yards of concrete needed could easily cost more than $13,000. The cost savings could pay for the laser control system based on this example, and over time could pay for the Bobcat loader, too.

You can also save money with a Bobcat concrete pump attachment. Instead of hiring a costly pumper truck to deliver the material for you, do it yourself and maximize your profits, not to mention im-proving your time efficiency. A Bobcat concrete pump attachment moves up to 28 cubic yards of concrete per hour—250 ft. hori-zontally or two stories up. Forget about wheelbarrows, shovels and planks, not to mention needing fewer finishers because the concrete is flowing at a speed that doesn’t rush workers.

Using a Bobcat concrete pump

attachment and loader offers other benefits, such as protecting under-ground utilities from large concrete trucks and keeping concrete trucks off driveways and sidewalks. For those hard-to-reach areas, hos-es can be routed through small openings, under decks, through bushes, across rivers, around trees and buildings and over moguls. Because the pump runs off your Bobcat loader’s hydraulic system, when you’re done pouring you can use the loader for other jobs such as moving building supplies or clean-ing the area with a sweeper attach-ment. You can even use a concrete mixer attachment to mix, transport and pour concrete in limited-access areas.

No other manufacturer serves rental centers better than Bobcat

with the largest selection of versa-tile compact equipment in the in-dustry. From dependable skid-steer loaders and compact track loaders to easy-to-service compact excava-tors, mini track loaders and more than 80 labor-saving attachments, Bobcat provides rental centers the machines to best meet contractor and homeowner equipment needs.

Add a Bobcat® compact track loader to your rental equipment fleet and see your revenues climb. Try a T140—just 5-ft.-wide with a bucket—perfect for traveling be-tween houses and working in con-fined jobsites. You should expect to see higher profits from a compact track loader as customers will rent them to work when it’s too wet to use a rubber tire machine, not to mention high productivity rates based on the rugged track under-carriage. Your customers will spend less time repairing existing surfaces because the T140 features 5.2 psi ground pressure to minimize ground disturbance.

The new Bobcat Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) 425 excavator is perfect for accessing tight jobsites and work-ing next to existing buildings or other objects without sacrificing operator comfort. Bobcat compact excavators provide 20 percent more interior cab volume than other brands. Expect the 425 to be popu-

Compact excavators offer many other advantages over other types of machines. Get a great view of the trench with an independent

boom swing and offset operator. A tracked under-carriage provides superior flota-tion compared to a larger, wheeled machine. Also, compact excava-tors generally use less fuel and can be hauled w i t h l i g h t e r, more fuel-effi-cient trucks.

Bobcat com-pact equipment offers panoram-ic service access to engine check-points, making

daily maintenance a simple proce-dure. Access the engine and pump package, valve bank and cooling system easily with a swing-open tailgate and side access hood.

Whether you’re renting compact excavators, skid-steer, compact track or mini track loaders, you can maintain high machine utilization rates by offering attachments that fit on several different types of car-riers. Keep your rental activity high and equipment inventory costs low with Bobcat attachments.

For nearly 50 years, Bobcat has been the number one name for

compact equipment in construction, industry, landscape and agriculture. Today Bobcat offers many versatile, time-saving machines and attach-ments for personal property main-tenance. Enjoy your property more with less back-breaking work.

Perhaps the favorite among home-owners with property is the Tool-cat™ 5600 utility work machine with its front-mounted attachment ability, cargo bed and impressive towing capacity. This one-of-a-kind unit combines the features of a pickup truck, loader and utility vehicle in one machine. Not only does it transport passengers and supplies at speeds up to 18 mph, but it is available with an enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning. There’s nothing quite like the com-fort of working outside in winter, clearing your long driveway in a heated cab. In the summer, set the cruise control and mow large areas quickly with a 72- or 90-in. mower attachment from the comfort of

your air conditioned cab. With four-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, there’s plenty of places on your property this machine can go.

If you are looking for a smaller machine with some of the same features as a Toolcat 5600, the new 2300 utility vehicle might be per-fect for you. The 2300 with Intel-

The 2300 utility vehicle can be used with five different attachments allowing you to get work done and have some fun.

liTrak® four-wheel drive, features the exclusive RapidLink™ attach-ment system with five attachments (mower, snow blade, whisker push broom, bucket and pallet fork). You can use one machine instead of three for mowing, snow removal or transportation around your prop-erty. Leave the tractor, mower and pickup behind as you work or ride around your property in style in one of four utility vehicles.

For homeowners who prefer to operate compact loaders, there are many Bobcat models to choose from. Access tight areas with a mini track loader or the smallest 463 skid-steer loader. Even with a bucket attachment, both are only 36-in.-wide. For bigger jobs, select a more powerful skid-steer loader or compact track loader with the horsepower and auxiliary hydrau-lic flow to operate many different types of attachments. Compact track loaders are a great option if your property has a lot of sand or dirt, or if you often operate in muddy areas where you need the extra traction and flotation from a rubber track undercarriage.

The two-passenger, air conditioned cab makes for comfortable working conditions.

utility work machine and utility vehicles, not to mention time-saving attachments.

Attachments are one of many reasons compact equipment has become popular in the livestock in-dustry. You can perform seemingly endless tasks with one machine and several attachments, such as hauling manure with a farm/util-ity grapple and bucket, moving hay bales with a bale fork, clearing overgrown grass and small sap-lings with a Brushcat™ rotary cut-ter, clearing trees with a brush saw, installing fence posts with an auger, or pushing snow with a blade or blower. Your Bobcat equipment is meant for year-round use with ma-chine options such as heated and air conditioned cabs.

Transport feed for cattle or clean feedlots with a Bobcat compact track loader. It can easily maneu-ver through mud, sand, manure and any type of soft soil. Or clean barns with a skid-steer loader. The compact size of the equipment pro-vides access to areas where larger machines can’t, reducing manual labor and saving valuable time. De-signed with farmers and ranchers in mind, Bobcat skid-steer loaders, featuring a flanged axel hub design prevent hay, straw and twine from wrapping around axles and damag-ing seals.

If you’re considering a larger machine, a VersaHandler telescopic tool carrier can be the answer. These sturdy machines reduce feeding time by lifting bales over fences. With lift heights from 18 to

Work just got a lot easier.

SKID-STEER LOADERS

Exceptional. That single word describes every Bobcat® skid-

steer loader—from the world’s very first skid-steer loader introduced almost five decades ago to today’s state-of-the art K-Series machines. Excellence in innovation, design and manufacture distinguish Bob-cat loaders in many ways.

Unequaled performanceThe more efficient, variable-speed

SmartFAN™ system of the K-Series loaders, for example, not only pro-vides better cooling, but runs at full speed only when needed. The hydraulically-driven fan is also up to 30 percent quieter than ordinary cooling fans for less operator fa-tigue and easier communication on the job.

The improved efficiency of K-Force hydraulics enhances lift and tilt functions for better digging performance. This also boosts hy-draulic torque for more productive attachment operation and reduces chances of stalling the attachment.

SKID-STEER LOADERSLoaders Keep Recycler Productive

For Larry Lange, plant manager at Ridge Recyclers, a division of

Liberty Tire, LLC, Johnston, S.C., Bobcat® skid-steer loaders and at-tachments are an integral part of the company’s success. The recy-cling facility processes about 14,000 rubber tires a day and estimates doing four million tires in 2006.

Ridge Recyclers picks up scrap tires from South Carolina, Geor-gia and North Carolina business-es, including tire manufacturers, car dealerships and service sta-tions. When the tires arrive on a semi-trailer, Bobcat S175 skid-steer loaders, equipped with industrial grapple attachments, unload the trucks and carry the material to a conveyor belt. “We like the S175s because of the way they get around, and because they are not too heavy to go in and out of the trailers; they get the job done well,” Lange says.

“Our Bobcat loaders have always been good, dependable equip-ment,” he says. “If I did the same amount of work with employees that I do with the Bobcat loaders and attachments, it would require five or six more people.”

Staying efficient is critical to the facility’s long-term success, Lange says. “It’s a competitive business. There is not much margin for ex-penditures—you have to keep costs down and the loaders and attach-ments have helped us remain an efficient company.”

In 2006, Ridge Recyclers pur-chased a new K-Series S175 loader, which Lange says has been help-ful in the noisy plant areas. “It is easier for us to carry on conversa-tions with customers or employees because the new S175 is quieter,” Lange says. “Our operators noticed a difference right away.” The K-Series loaders—S130 and larger—have a SmartFAN™, which is now variable speed and hydraulically driven. It turns only as fast as it needs to cool the loader.

The turbo-powered S205 gives you top performance in a medium-sizeK-Series Bobcat skid-steer loader. It offers the power to take on big liftingand digging chores and the versatility to save time and labor in manyother jobs using a wide variety of Bobcat attachments. In addition to pro-viding the security of keyless start, the optional deluxe instrument panelincludes digital time and job clocks and multi-language displays.

Although the recycling plant is about 60 miles from his local Bob-cat dealer, Lange says his Bobcat of Columbia salesman is there for him when he needs parts and service. Lange says he has a strong relation-ship with his dealership, which is one reason he has not looked at other compact equipment brands.

“Bobcat loaders have always been there for us,” Lange says. “They seem to be setting the pace for the others to follow in keeping up with technology.”

Lange agrees that his loaders hold up well in this industrial set-ting, and he recommends them to other businesses who are inter-ested in buying a compact machine because of its dependability and versatility.

S220 Is Tailor-Made for Hard Work and Easy OperationPower. Manueverability. Ease of

operation. A Bobcat® S220 skid-steer loader offers contractor Miles Tettemer, Barrys Bay, Ontario, all this and more.

Tettemer and his crew use this impressive machine, along with other equipment, for jobs ranging from installing landscapes and re-pairing pavement to clearing snow. But, mostly, they build interlocking concrete block and stone retaining walls to protect lakefront properties from shoreline erosion.

The S220, purchased from Mat-thews Equipment, Ottawa, is used with a bucket for loading and spreading dirt and gravel and hauling trees and rocks. The Bobcat pallet fork is handy for moving pallets of blocks and stones when constructing walls.

The S220 tackles work that Tette-mer’s large tractor-loader-backhoe

and smaller skid-steer loader can’t handle as quickly or as easily.

“My S220 is big enough to load tandem dump trucks and compact enough to fit into tight areas along lake shores for building retaining walls,” says Tettemer. “The longer wheelbase provides a smoother ride, too.”

He’s equipped his S220 with a va-riety of options to improve produc-tivity. They include the Power Bob-Tach™ system, which enables him to change his attachments without leaving the cab, and hydraulic bucket positioning, which minimiz-es spillage by keeping the bucket and pallet fork level throughout the machine’s radius lift path.

The low-effort Selectable Joy-stick Control option (SJC) does more than improve operating con-venience and comfort. It allows Tettemer, who has limited use of

his right arm as the result of an accident, to operate the S220. A sus-pension seat and deluxe cab with heater adds to his comfort.

The high-speed range of the two-speed travel option saves valuable time. “I can move material around the jobsite a lot faster and it’s really great for running up and down the road between sites,” he says.

Tettemer’s rugged, reliable S220 works the way he does—hard and long, day in and day out. “I couldn’t ask for more,” he says. “I’m very, very happy with my S220.”

Bobcat Compact Track Loaders Offer a Superior ChoiceS ince introducing the first Ameri-

can-made compact track loader with a solid-mounted undercar-riage eight years ago, Bobcat en-gineers have continued to refine its performance. The K-Series line represents the latest advancements in compact track loader technology. The result is a machine that is sec-ond to none.

Most pushing power. Bobcat® com-pact track loaders lead the field when it comes to pushing force. This is due to the direct-drive mo-tors, the balance of machine weight and horsepower and the solid-mounted undercarriage.

Best maneuverability. This reflects the industry’s best horsepower to weight ratio.

A choice of track width. Unlike other compact track loaders, you can equip your Bobcat machine with narrow tracks for maximum traction and pushing force or with wide tracks for best flotation. (The T140 is available with standard 12-in. tracks only.)

A smoother ride. The exclusive C-pattern track tread improves the ride quality without sacrificing traction or track durability.

Unmatched comfort and conve-nience. A spacious, ergonomically-designed cab with great visibility, an easy to see and reach instrument panel and a suspension seat are standard. For more comfort, choose options such as climate-controlled cab, deluxe instrumentation with keyless start and low-effort Select-able Joystick Controls.

Most durable. The fully-enclosed steel undercarriage of Bobcat ma-chines has few moving parts, mini-mizing wear and tear, and the el-evated sprocket design sheds mud and debris, extending sprocket and track life.

Easiest to maintain. To adjust track tension, just open an access cover and use a grease gun to add grease to the tensioning cylinder. The transversely-mounted engine features one-side serviceability of all routine maintenance points.

T300: ‘Best Investment’Roland Walker of Cleveland, Tex.,

works for more than a dozen builders in the Houston area clear-ing lots, preparing sites and doing a variety of other jobs. Much of the time he relies on a T300 compact track loader, a machine he calls “the best investment I ever made.”

He cites the benefits of the pow-erful Bobcat® loader:

Works when other equipment can’t. Walker purchased the T300 from Bobcat of Houston two years ago during a particularly rainy season. “We were losing two days a week with our wheel loaders,” says Walker. “Once we had the T300 we caught up quickly and were right back on schedule. Everyone wants their job done today, and the T300 helps us accomplish that.”

In addition to allowing Walker and his crew to operate in less-than-ideal weather, the T300 ex-tends the work season. “We can plan on at least an extra week in the Spring and a week in the Fall. That’s why compact track loaders pay for themselves.”

Machine of many jobs. Walker says his T300 is so powerful and maneuverable that he can “ac-complish as much as a D4 dozer. It makes short work of grading, load-ing and unloading dump trucks.“

He also says that with the vast ar-ray of Bobcat attachments, the T300 saves a lot of time. “We used to have to wait for someone else to do a particular part of a job. Now I can do it myself with the right Bobcat attachment. For example, right after we take down trees when clearing a site, we use the grapple to load the logs into a truck and pick up the branches and other debris to haul away.”

Bobcat dependabil i ty. Bobcat equipment is worth the price, says Walker. “I am willing to pay for de-pendability. In the past, a couple of breakdowns with other equipment cost $4,000-5,000. Who needs un-necessary expenses like that. Plus, my customers are not happy when I am not working.”

Makes money. Walker’s T300 is productive six days a week. “Com-pared to a wheel loader, the T300 does 60 percent more work in the same amount of time,” he says. “As a result, we get jobs completed much faster.”

In addition, the T300 enables Walker to pick up a lot of extra work. “Neighbors see it working and hire us to do projects. This loader is a magnet for more work. A real money-maker.”

W ith the Bobcat® mini track loader to do all the back-break-

ing labor, you and your machine can easily replace a whole crew of workers and hand tools when quar-ters are cramped. Choose from two models—the MT52 or the MT55.

Mini Track Loaders Deliver Big Power in a Small Package

Each rugged workhorse provides everything you need—power, speed, agility, versatility and conve-nience—in a super-compact pack-age to work efficiently and produc-tively where most other machines can’t, indoors or out.

Powered by a standard diesel en-gine, the Bobcat mini track loader provides remarkable tractive effort, hydraulic breakout force and push-ing ability to make fast, easy work of digging, backfilling, spreading, grading and carrying dirt and other materials. It also offers an impres-sive rated operating capacity, cycle times and lift height for efficient, productive loading work. Durable rubber tracks keep you working in soft, wet or muddy conditions with minimal disturbance to turf or other sensitive surfaces.

Plus, it’s simple to operate. The mini track loader features an easy-to-use instrument panel, a multi-function handle to control the speed and direction of the hydrostatic drive and a lever to raise and lower the lift arm and tilt the attachment. You can operate this handy loader as you walk behind it or stand on the optional ride-on platform, which you can hook up or remove in seconds. A reverse stop panel on the back automatically prevents the machine from traveling in re-verse—and moves forward—if it is pushed in.

You’ll find all kinds of jobs for this hard-working machine. Using the exclusive Bob-Tach™ mounting system, you can equip the mini track loader with a variety of Bob-cat attachments—similar to larger Bobcat loaders. Mount a backhoe to excavate in hard-to-reach areas, a hydraulic breaker to break up asphalt and concrete or a landplane to grade, loosen hard ground or peel sod.

Visit your local dealer for com-plete information on how the Bob-cat mini track loader can fit your needs.

Landscaper Bob Tunzi says he makes—and keeps—a lot of

promises to his customers, thanks, in part, to a productive mini track loader.

“Most of my work is renova-tion,” he says. “People trust me to tear up their yards and install new landscape features when I say I will. They have high expectations, and to meet them I need the right equipment.”

More frequently the right equip-ment has been an MT55, says the owner of Tunzi and Sons, Crest-wood, Ill.

“Full-size machines weren’t al-lowing me to get into backyards,” he says. “Even when I have access I find that using a mini track loader can really be efficient.”

Tunzi, who began his landscap-ing career at age 33, after working as a meat cutter for a supermarket

Landscaper Keeps Promiseschain, checked out several mini track loaders before purchasing an MT55 from Atlas Bobcat.

“I liked the Bobcat® unit bet-ter—wider tracks, the diesel engine and the ride-on platform were important advantages,” he says. “Plus, Bobcat has a great selection of attachments. The best by far.”

Tunzi owns a tiller, trencher, au-ger, pallet forks and a bucket for his MT55. He uses the tiller to add soil amendments to flower beds, the trencher for drainage work and the auger to install fence posts.

The MT55, with bucket and pallet forks, was a big time- and work-saver on a retaining wall project last winter, says Tunzi.

“The wall was as high as 12 ft. in some places,” he recalls. “Working in very sloppy conditions, we used the MT55 to bring in all the blocks and to fill in gravel behind the wall.

MT52 MT55

The MT55 boasts even more power to tackle big jobs in close quarterswith impressive traction and lifting abilities. It turns quickly in its tracks, treads lightly over soft ground and lawns and provides endless work-sav-ing opportunities using many different Bobcat attachments. Used by itselfor as a complement to bigger loaders, this is one great work-saver.

We didn’t tear up the yard, avoided a lot of hand work and cut at least two days off the schedule.”

He points out that the MT55 very quickly gets material, such as gravel and mulch, to the person us-ing it. “My employees seem to find the best way to make use of their equipment,” he says. “They keep finding new applications for the MT55 and that makes them more efficient and productive.”

ALL-WHEEL STEER

Revolutionary All-Wheel Steer loader is two machines in one.

Enjoy the speed and maneuver-ability of a skid-steer loader and

the tire- and turf-saving advantages of a four-wheel steer loader with just one machine—the revolution-ary Bobcat® K-Series All-Wheel Steer loader.

It’s ideal for landscaping, and nurseries, industrial sites, munici-palities, paving and flatwork, golf course maintenance, utility jobs, the list goes on and on.

Simply press a switch and you can operate it in either mode. In all-wheel steer mode, the four steerable axles turn the machine smoothly, minimizing damage to turf and other established surfaces, reduc-ing spillage of loose materials and decreasing tire wear, even on con-crete and asphalt. This can lower or even eliminate ground re-work or repairs and extend tire life.

All-Wheel Steer Loader Offers Choice of Two Steering Modes

In skid-steer mode, the axles remain in the straight position to produce the quick, tight turns and maneuverability of a skid-steer loader.

Either way, you control the ma-chine with the ease and comfort of standard low-effort joysticks.

The all-wheel steer loader’s im-pressive rated operating capacity easily handles heavy loads, such as bricks and sod, while lift height, reach and dump angle of the verti-cal lift path are ideal for loading trucks.

Standard features that include two-speed travel, foot throttle, sus-pension seat and fingertip control of attachments, enhance operation.

All-Wheel Steer Loader Builds Image and Business

As a former employee of the Ritz-Carlton hotel organization,

John Gursoy knows all about high expectations. He applies the same standards to his southwest Florida landscape renovation business, in-cluding relying on a top-of-the-line Bobcat® A300 loader.

Gursoy decided to change ca-reers in 2005. He purchased the all-wheel steer machine from Bob-cat of Naples just after hurricane Katrina arrived. He was planning to do cleanup work in Mississippi for six months. Then hurricane Wilma hit his area (Naples, Marco Island) and he began clearing his own property.

“People saw me working and hired me to get trees off their hous-es and move storm debris to the street,” says Gursoy. “One after another, neighbors asked me to help them. My business just kept growing.”

Cleanup customers became land-scape customers. Now his compa-ny, JVG Enterprise & Development, Inc., does a wide variety of projects,

from tree and stump removal to hardscaping.

He was first introduced to Bobcat equipment in 1993 when he began renting loaders to do charitable work. “I occasionally used them for the next 11 years,” says Gursoy. “I was impressed with the amount of work you could accomplish.”

When it came time to purchase a loader he decided the A300 was best for him. “Initially, saving on tires was a big factor,” says Gursoy. “I saw people going through a set of tires every three weeks when they were doing storm cleanup. Tires on the A300 last a lot longer. The turf-friendly features of the machine are also a plus. It’s easy on existing lawns and does not damage sprin-kler heads. Both are very important to my customers. I get a lot of com-pliments about the A300. People

marvel at what it can do. The loader helps bring in business.”

The A300 is like having two ma-chines in one—the smooth efficien-cy of all-wheel steer and the agility of skid-steer. The machine, with a 3,000-lb. rated operating capacity, has a vertical lift path design that provides superior lift height, reach, dump angle and excellent visibility for easy truck loading.

Gursoy says his long-term success is based on demonstrating a profes-sional image. “I return phone calls, dress neat and keep my machine clean,” he says. “Every day I go through a checklist to make sure my A300 is ready to work. I also bring a two-way radio to each job so I can communicate with the homeowner while I am working on the property. Customers really appreciate being part of the process.”

VERSAHANDLER

Combining the strength, agility and speed of a skid-steer loader

with the extended reach of a fork-lift, the multipurpose VersaHan-dler® telescopic tool carrier (TTC) saves you time and labor using a variety of Bobcat® attachments. This compact, easy-to-operate machine is the smart alternative to small and mid-size articulated loaders and tractor loaders, wheth-er you’re digging and grading, lifting and carrying or picking and placing materials

The diesel-powered VersaHan-dler TTC is available in three mod-els, with a choice of attachments ranging from buckets and a bale handler to an angle broom and a grapple. It’s ideal for a wide range of jobs—backfilling and placing

trusses at construction sites, stack-ing bales and feeding silage on farms, sweeping leaves and re-moving snow from city streets and parking lots and much, much more.

The telescopic boom can lift and dump higher and reach and dump farther than a similar size or even larger fixed-boom loader to save you valuable time. The rigid, light and strong unitized frame handles heavier payloads than a tractor loader or articulated loader for more productivity. It easily out-maneuvers traditional wheel loaders and tractor loaders with its choice of three steering modes: all-wheel steer to move quickly in tight areas and around obstacles; crab steer to position it-

self precisely in close quarters and front wheel steer for good control at road speeds.

This hard-working machine is also designed for easy, convenient operation. One step up and you’re in the cab, where the low-mounted boom and side-mounted engine give you a clear view all around. You control lift and tilt functions with a single joystick that includes thumbwheels for extending and retracting the boom, and operating the auxiliary hydraulics—includ-ing the hydraulic Quick-Tach. Using the single shuttle lever you can smoothly shift the heavy-duty, industrial-style hydrostatic trans-mission on-the-fly between low and high speed ranges.

See your participating Bobcat dealer today and learn all the ways that the VersaHandler TTC can ease your workload.

5600 4x4

For more than two decades vet-erinarian Chris Gaumont has

used a variety of equipment—a skid-steer loader, garden tractors and utility vehicles—to work around her animal hospital and dog training facility in Acushnet, Mass.

“They all did what they were designed to do,” she says. “And I got my work done.”

More recently, she purchased a Toolcat™ 5600 utility work ma-chine from Bobcat of Cape Cod, and discovered there was a better way to handle many jobs.

The 5600 is a one-of-a-kind four-wheel drive and all-wheel steer unit that combines all the best features of a utility loader, pickup truck and attachment carrier. With dozens of Bobcat®

attachments available, the Toolcat machine is perfect for tackling a wide variety of jobs.

“Except for backhoe work, I can do everything with the 5600 that I could with my 743 loader,” says Dr. Gaumont. “Plus, the 5600 allows me to use my other equip-ment less. It is truly a versatile machine.”

Veterinarian Discovers Many Uses for Utility Work Machine

2300 4x4 NEW!

R ick Weand, Reading, Pa., first caught a glimpse of the new

Bobcat® 2300 utility vehicle dur-ing a demonstration at his local dealership in mid-2006. As soon as he saw it, Weand knew he had to have the one-of-a-kind utility vehi-cle with the exclusive RapidLink™

attachment system. “There’s nothing like it on the

market today,” Weand says. “The attachment lift arm sold me on the machine.”

Intended for year-round use, Weand ordered the 2300 utility vehicle with a pallet fork, bucket, snow blade and whisker push broom—attachments he will use on his many construction jobsites, as well as for snow removal at his rental properties.

It didn’t take long for Weand to put the machine to use. With the 2300 and bucket attachment, he quickly backfilled trenches where

new electrical lines had been in-stalled in a parking lot. He prefers the 2300 over heavier equipment because it doesn’t leave marks on new pavement when it turns. In the winter, he plans to clear snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking lots with the versatile 2300, snow blade and whisker push broom.

Weand and his sons, Derrick and Brandon, have been Bobcat customers for more than six years, starting with a 753 skid-steer load-er and eventually purchasing a 331E compact excavator. More recently, they traded the 753 for an S250. The family-owned business builds custom homes in-between sub-contracting projects that in-clude general excavating tasks, underground water and electrical installations and sewer repairs.

Weand says his decision to pur-chase the 2300 was based in large

part on the great experiences he has with his Bobcat dealership. “Reading Kubota has taken good care of us, even covering work that went beyond the warranty,” Weand says. “If someone asks me about buying a machine, I always steer them to Bobcat.”

In addition to using the machine for work purposes, Weand intends to take it on future hunting trips.

2300 Makes Inroads on Construction Jobsites

With room for four, a comfortable ride, a spacious cargo box and maximum traction in tough terrain, the 2200S is the perfect machine for touring construction sites, parks, resorts, farms and ranches. Operating the unique IntelliTrak drive system couldn’t be simpler. Push the drive lever forward, press the accelerator and go. The operator station includes a dash-mounted power adapter for a cell phone and plenty of storage space for gloves, tools and other gear.

The 5600 and mower attachment work much better—they do a phenomenal job. I get the mowing completed a lot faster. And my work envi-ronment is much better inside the cab of the Toolcat machine. L ivestock producers are always looking for ways to operate

more efficiently. Thanks to a V723 VersaHandler® telescopic tool car-rier, a Wisconsin dairy farmer is saving time and producing more pounds of milk per cow.

Lester Sterken of Sterken Farms, Inc., purchased a V723 from Bobcat of Janesville, replacing a payloader on his family’s dairy farm, where they milk 500 cows, and raise 700 acres of corn and 400 acres of al-falfa.

“We still have the payloader, but I don’t know how much we’ll use it anymore,” says Sterken. “The V723 saves us a lot of time. We can get done feeding the cows at least

Dairy Farmer Improves Productivity with V723

a half-hour faster, and that’s after defacing the silage.”

Sterken says he wasn’t able to ef-fectively deface the silage with his payloader because it couldn’t reach the top of the pile, which is more than 16 feet high. But today, with his V723, he can not only reach the top, but has found many other use-ful purposes for the 23 feet of lift height, such as stacking round and square hay bales in his barn.

Loading the feed mixer got a lot easier for Sterken once he made the switch to the VersaHandler tele-scopic. “We use the V723 to load the feed mixer because it is too high to reach with our other equipment. We can dump feed supplements

directly into the mixer using the bucket attachment.”

In addition to the V723, Sterken has been a long-time owner of Bobcat® skid-steer loaders, dating back to his first machine—a 743, which he purchased in 1982. Today the farm uses a 763 with more than 7,000 hours and a S185 with 5,000 hours to scrape manure in the barns or push feed. Sterken attributes the farm’s day-to-day success with the loaders’ dependability and ease of service.

Keeping your Bobcat® equipment in top operating condition al-

lows you to benefit from all the performance, comfort and conve-nience that has been built into your machine. That’s why your Bobcat dealer is dedicated to providing the best product support in the industry.

The ability of your Bobcat dealer to provide genuine Bobcat parts—when and where you need them—is second to none. This minimizes any downtime. Plus, the parts used to service and repair your equipment meet the demanding specifications of Bobcat engineers.

Bobcat Parts and Service Minimize Downtime

A regular program to service your machine and spot and correct any minor problems before they require more costly repair is also a smart management practice. Here, again, your Bobcat dealer stands ready to help with two different planned maintenance programs.

BobCHECKSM

This multi-point inspection of all maintenance and operation features of your machine is de-signed to identify any items that require service or repair. It can be performed in a few minutes by a road service technician as part of a

service call or planned maintenance service. Any needed repairs that can’t be completed on the spot can be scheduled for another time.

BobCARE PMSM

This planned maintenance pro-gram ensures your machine is ser-viced, such as changing fluids and filters, at the 250- 500- and 1,000-hour intervals in the service sched-ule. You also receive an inspection report detailing any recommended repairs.

The work is done by Bobcat ser-vice technicians who have received the specialized factory-training to detect any potential machine prob-lems and who have the proper tools to service and repair the intricate hydraulic, electrical and drive sys-tems of Bobcat machines. This way your Bobcat equipment is serviced correctly and in a timely manner, even if you’re too busy to do the work yourself.

Also, it allows you to schedule maintenance at times when you may need your machine and it saves you the expense of operating your own service shop. When your Bobcat dealer services your equip-ment, you are free to concentrate on your primary business. And planned maintenance helps protect the resale value of your machine.

Ask your local dealer about the many benefits of BobCARE PM. He can tailor a program to fit your needs.

Excellent WarrantyYour new Bobcat loader, excava-

tor or telescopic tool carrier is pro-tected by a warranty that provides free parts and labor to repair any problems due to defects in mate-rial or workmanship for the first 12 months, no matter how many total hours of use.

Genuine Bobcat parts meet Bobcat engineers’ specifications—and the parts come with a six-month warranty.

EXCAVATORS

W ith the largest selection of compact excavators, Bobcat is

the industry’s unmatched leader. Features such as panoramic ser-viceability, the most cab space in the industry, more engine horse-power, Advanced Hydraulics, Fast-Track™ drive system and In-Track Swing Frame put Bobcat® excava-tors ahead of the competition. Plus, they are the only compact excava-tors manufactured in the U.S.A.

Many Choices Choose a compact excavator that

best fits your jobsite needs. Bobcat compact excavators cover a wide range of digging depths—from 5 ft. to nearly 14 ft. And because compact excavators weigh less than larger machines, you can tow them behind a fuel-efficient half-ton to two-ton truck.

In-Track Swing Frame If you regularly work close to

objects or against walls, consider a

Unmatched Selection and FeaturesBobcat Zero House Swing (ZHS) or Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) compact ex-cavator with the most unrestricted rotation in the industry. And when you are digging in the offset posi-tion, the exclusive In-Track Swing Frame keeps the swing casting within the tracks, giving you the ability to dig next to an obstacle with excellent visibility. If access-ing backyards through fences is an issue, a conventional swing exca-vator might be better because it is narrower than an equivalent zero tail swing machine. For the tightest access areas, the Bobcat 316 and 323 feature a hydraulically activated retractable undercarriage.

Do More Than Dig Do more than simply dig with

your Bobcat compact excavator. To-day there are 16 attachments avail-able. They are designed to save you time and labor. Save even more time with the new Hydraulic X-Change™

attachment mounting system. Re-tract or extend hydraulic pins with a simple push of a switch, then install the retainer pins before operating. Your operators are more likely to use the proper attachment for the job when attachment changes are simple. Fingertip control of auxilia-ry hydraulics allows you to manage attachment speeds with precision for improved productivity.

Panoramic Serviceability Daily maintenance is critical

with any piece of equipment. No one makes it easier to perform routine maintenance checks than Bobcat—all without sacrificing cab space. Gain access to filters, fluid and other daily maintenance check-points with a swing-open tailgate and side access hood.

Visit your local participating Bob-cat dealer to learn more about the best lineup of excavators available today.

425 ZTS NEW!

ABobcat® 435 excavator is do-ing just what Logan Tucker

expected. The Zero House Swing (ZHS) machine allows him to move quickly around jobsites, complete projects faster, work more efficient-ly and expand his customer base.

He operates Tucker Farm and Grading in Monroe, N.C., with his sons-in-law Richard Dorton and Jayme Carroll. Much of their work involves site clearing and prepara-tion for developers.

Tucker has always used big track loaders. In recent years, however, he had been renting compact exca-vators more frequently as develop-ers wanted him to do additional work at their projects.

“I was renting excavators so often that it just made sense to purchase my own,” he says. “Over the years we had tried just about every brand

ZHS Excavator Exceeds Expectations

on the market so we were familiar with all the products. When it came time to buy (from Bobcat of Mon-roe), one machine stood above all the rest—the Bobcat 435.”

This 49 hp unit’s unique ZHS de-sign reduces the chance of acciden-tal damage, allowing operators to work faster. The FastTrack™ drive system means faster backfilling and grading, and smoother turns.

“FastTrack allows us to work 20-30 percent faster than with other equipment,” says Tucker. “It also enables us to get our excavator on and off trucks and in position to work quicker, too. FastTrack alone has significantly boosted our pro-ductivity.”

The companies that hire Tucker like the fact that he has his own excavator. “Once we are on a jobsite they keep asking us to do more—

and with the 435 we can,” he says. “We can clear an entire lot with the excavator, plus do extra work such as dig footings and drainage lines, install pipe, and backfill with the blade.”

Tucker also likes the controls on the 435—“more comfortable than other brands”—and the Zero House Swing feature—“a big plus that gives us maximum maneuver-ability.” And, he notes, ”it is easy to justify the cost because the ma-chine is so productive.”

The newest evolution of the PowerLeaseSM is the latest of several leasing and financing pro-

grams available from Ingersoll-Rand Financial Services, a division of CitiCapital Commercial Corporation (“IRFS”), offering even lower pay-ments, unlimited hourly usage combined with simplicity and flexibility.

“The latest version of the PowerLease is better than ever,” says Demian Tallman, a marketing analyst with IRFS. “It continues as an affordable alternative to tradional financing, but now offers even lower payments with unlimited hourly us-age, flexible options to purchase, trade up or just walk away at the end of the lease.”

The PowerLease can offer several advantages including cash flow and tax and accounting ben-efits. Also, it allows you to operate new equip-ment, upgrade your technology to reduce the potential downtime of older equipment and keep credit lines open to conserve operating capital.

All new Bobcat® skid-steer and compact track loaders, excavators, Toolcat™ utility work ma-chines, VersaHandler® telescopic tool carriers and up to two new attachments for each power unit are eligible for the PowerLease. The PowerLease now offers unlimited hourly usage which is an upgrade from the 800 hours or less a year that was previously offered.

Flexibility is one attractive feature of the Pow-erLease. You know up-front the cost of buying the equipment during the contract. Two early buyout options allow you to purchase the machine for a pre-determined price at two different times dur-ing the life of the lease. Or, at the end of the lease, you can buy the machine for its fair market value or return it to your dealer.

Additional benefits of the PowerLease: No down payment is required; monthly payments are lower than traditional financing and no sales tax is due at signing.

“This latest version of the PowerLease gives you the best of both worlds—even lower monthly payments and the ability to purchase the equip-ment during or at the end of the lease term,” says Tallman.

Contact your Bobcat dealer for details about the PowerLease and other financing options.
