Training Options § In Classroom - Workday provides comprehensive instructor-led in classroom training to prepare students to

meet their job role requirements. Our classes combine cohesive lectures and product demonstrations with hands-on exercises to reinforce student learning. Workday has training facilities at our headquarters in Pleasanton, California, as well as in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, London and Hong Kong. § Virtual Classroom - Workday’s Virtual Classroom offers the advantages of live instructor-led training without the expense and time associated with travel. These courses are a combination of lecture, demonstration and hands-on activities to reinforce learning. Learning Management System The Workday Learning Center is our Learning Management System where you can search for topics, enroll in classes, and launch training all in one place. If you do not already have an account and would like to request access, please contact your Training Coordinator or ask your Engagement Manager for more information.

Purchasing Training Classroom and Virtual Training - Classroom and Virtual training can be purchased at a cost of $600USD per day of classroom instruction and $300USD per day of virtual instruction per student.

These trainings can also be purchased at a cost of 1 training credit per day of classroom instruction per student; 1/2 training credit per day of virtual instruction per student. The advantage of training credits is they can be purchased in bulk at a discount. Training credits are good for one year after the purchase date. The discount table is shown below:

On-Demand Training - On-Demand Training from Workday is available as a subscription service. The cost is $5,000 per year for a block of 5 licensed users to access one of the available libraries. Workday currently offers four training libraries:

§ HCM Core- covering application functionality in Human Capital, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Expenses, and other areas

§ Financials - This ODE library contains topics related to Expenses, Analytics and Reporting, as well as Revenue Management.

Self-Service Training -The Workday Adoption Toolkit (WAT) is a subscription service. The cost of the toolkit is calculated by multiplying the number of employees times $.50 and then adding $5,000 per subscription year. The minimum subscription length is the number of remaining years on your Workday license. For example, if you have 25,000 employees and 3 years remaining on your Workday license, your price would be (.50 x 25,000) + 5,000 = $17,500 per year x 3 = $52,500

On-Demand Education Designed for anyone with responsibility for Workday configuration, such as mangers, system implementers and project team leaders active in Workday implementations. General familiarity with Workday navigation is recommended.

Prerequisites: None

Length: 16 Minutes Description: A business process is the definition of business tasks that need to be performed in order for an event to occur, the sequence in which they must be done, and who must do them. Watch this overview module to learn the basics regarding configuring and managing business processes.

Length: 15 minutes Description: Document Transformation integrations can process ETV/XTT attributes, which can greatly simplify the XSLT used to create the target system data format, typically a delimited or fixed-width file. Unlike outbound EIB integrations, Document Transformation integrations can validate data and place messages on integration events, as well as access integration attributes and maps. In the example shown here, launch parameter default values are set at design-time and are therefore not displayed at run-time. Watch this module to learn how to create a Document Transformation integration that does not display prompt values when the integration is launched and outputs a fixed-width formatted file.
