Nicole De Jong Central Oregon Community College Science Building The second of two new academic buildings that YGH built for COCC, the Science Building is sited and designed to celebrate the natural beauty of the campus and to take advantage of the abundant natural light. Nestled into the steep hillside the building houses a variety of learning spaces from traditional classrooms and laboratories to more informal study and breakout spaces. Role: Design Assist for Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation Location: Bend, OR Completed: Fall, 2012 SF: 55,900 Project Caterpillar Conceptual Design Part of a larger campus master plan Project Caterpillar was a conceptual design of a corporate headquarters. The main office building was envisioned to function as a hub for the whole corporate campus, enhance the corporate brand and serve as a recruiting tool for clients and young professionals. Role: Design Assist / Revit Lead for Conceptual Design Client: Confidential Location: Confidential Completed: Not Built SF: 260,000 Dow Chemical Company East End Project Located on two floors of a new four level building in downtown Midland, MI the Dow East End Project represents the first significant downtown presence of the company in their home town. The client requested a vibrant and active open office space that will be a showcase for the company.
