Winning TeachersKindle surprise for reading champions

Teachers at Bethnal Green Academy have implemented a range of exciting and innovative strategies to get students engaged in reading and it has had a great impact, with BGA seeing a marked improvement in students’ interest in books and reading during tutor time and at home. Teachers set up lending libraries, brought books in from home, implemented paired reading and found lots of innovative ways to establish good reading habits. Winning teachers received Kindles as a big thank you for their hard work.
