Recurring Activities
• You will now be able to schedule recurring activities in wMobile phone or desktop.
• Alarms will be delivered on recurring activities as set when the activity is created.

Editing recurring activities• You will be able to edit
recurring activity details such as the reference, date, time, notes etc.
• Note: If you are on GoldMine 9 or above, you will also be able to edit the recurrence details. GoldMine 6.x, 7.x, and 8.x handle and store recurring activities in a different way, so customers with those older versions of GoldMine will not be able to edit the recurrence.
Activity Notifications• Activity notifications,
such as alarms, notifying a GoldMine user when an activity has been scheduled for him, and RSVP are now supported.
• In order for these functions to work, there is some configuration needed in the wMobile Manager Console.
Notification Services
• These settings can be accessed in the Notification Services.
• These settings include email settings and alarm monitor.

GoldMine Email
• You can now configure how many users will appear on the list of GoldMine users for use in GoldMine email.
Default User Options• This settings is in Default
User Options | Phone | Email
• Adjust the GMUsersNumberInRecipientList.
• Apply to all users.• You’ll be prompted to
confirm the change and to restart wMobile components.
Phone labels
• Previously generic phone labels were used, such as Phone1, Phone2, Phone3.
• Now the labels from the previously viewed record will be used for consistency and clarity.
Case reassignment
• An issue was recently fixed with case reassignment. The screen did not refresh so it was not clear to the user that the case had been reassigned.
• The Edit and History options weren’t displayed properly in the list view.
Email linking
• An issue was recently fixed where an email was inadvertently linked to the cc’d recipient rather than the primary recipient.

Tap to SearchAn issue has been fixed in wMobile Desktop on iPads where an extended touch was required instead of the standard tap.
DashboardThe Dashboard contact details have been redesigned. The Edit/Delete options were removed. The company and contact links are now clearly highlighted so it’s clear they are hyperlinks. Note: It is not possible to delete records in wMobile.
Desktop Email Center Inbox
• An issue has been fixed where the first email in the list was always checkmarked on refresh. Users reported inadvertently deleting the first email when filing or deleting multiple emails.
Relationship tab splitter bar• An issue has been fixed
where moving the splitter caused an error.
• Now you can move up the splitter bar to see more of the relationship tree.
Copy to clipboard
• There is now an option to Copy to clipboard on the wMobile desktop toolbar. You might have to use the right arrow to navigate to it depending on your screen size and resolution.
Copy contact details
• This functionality also works on iPads using the built in magnifier copy/paste tools.
Default User Options
• Based on the poll from the last wMobile online user group, we’ll have a deep dive into the Default User Options and User Options.
• Users Options can be used to set options for an individual user.
• Default User Options can be used to apply settings to all users.
User Options
• To change settings for a particular user, select that user from the list.
• Make the change and click Save to preserve the change.
• You can also use Reset to default to change back to default settings.
Default Settings
• Let’s be clear about what “Default Settings” means.
• Users with Master level rights in wMobile can save a set of user preferences as default.
Sections
• Common – applies to both applications.• Desktop – settings apply to Desktop Edition.• Phone – settings apply to Phone Edition.• Note where you start – if you select wMobile at the top
of the wMobile Explorer Pane, you’ll see all sections. If you start from Phone, you’ll only see Phone settings.
Setting descriptions
• Each setting has a description of the functionality in the bottom of the pane.
Default User Options
• Default User Options is used to save a change as a new default or to Apply to All Users.
Common settings
• Activities– Carry over completion notes– Check follow-up by default– Default History sort order– Set alarm on new activity
• Contacts– Add Contact fax label
• Personal– Contact Set
Desktop settings
• Activities– Time picker interval (For Time field in activities)– Multi-calendar
• Contacts– QuickSearch fields– Selected tabs
• Display– Tablet theme (Metro Touch is recommended)
