Fall No. 1s: KATC, WRNS, KTST, WCTK, KWEN, KFDI One of the fall book’s top stories has to be that of KATC/Colorado Springs. This Citadel station debuted at the end of last June and in just two books has rocketed to No. 1 12+. Its summer-fall move of 4.5-7.4 boosted it from eleventh to first. Under the heading of “the rich get richer,” Three of the six No.1 finishers tacked on healthy gains to their already market-leading numbers. WRNS/Greenville-New Bern moved up 11.5-13.1, KWEN/Tulsa increased 8.1-9.5 and KFDI/Wichita gained 11.4-13.1. The other two No.1s posted gains, with KTST moving 6.3-6.9 and WCTK increasing 7.5-7.9.
A “+” indicates a Classic Country outlet, a “^” designates Country stations in the same market owned by a single operator and an “*” indicates a tie.
