Dear Mrs. D:I am carrying all of my
possessions on my back. My family and I are on the long walk West to Indian Territory. I am fearful that, in losing our land, we will be unable to hunt for food or properly care for our children. I feel great sadness at the loss of our homeland. I am afraid this is not the end of our suffering.
