Introducing the new Wireless Technology

The new LANX WL onboard truck scale is installed directly into the cab and provides a real-time display of the net, gross, semi-trailer and prime mover axle weights. LANX WL uses a variety of wireless digital sensors positioned on the vehicle’s suspensions and has an alphanumeric screen that displays all weight data. This product is suited with both the owner driver and the fleet manager in mind as the LANX WL is economical and accurate whilst being reliable. It is expandable to include all the trucks in the fleet without any signal interference to other LANX WL displays and electrical equipment.

The wireless digital sensors, which are connected to the prime mover’s rear pneumatic suspension group [1] and on the trailer’s pneumatic suspension group [2], record the pressure variation when product is loaded on to the vehicle. The measured data is sent wirelessly to the LANX WL unit which displays the measured weight in the cab. Since the sensors are self-powered with radio transmitter it requires no cables for power or data transmission.

Step 2 – Deciding How Many Sensors

Every kit is complete with the LANX WL display panel, 24V socket power adaptor and suitable pneumatic hose and fittings. The kits vary by how many pneumatic sensors are included, that is;

• S2 kit will have two sensors• S3 kit will have three sensors• S4 kit will have four sensors

The amount of sensors you need depends on how many height level valves are found on your vehicle. As a minimum, every level valve on the truck or trailer will require its own sensor. However, for a large axle group that is being serviced by a single level valve such as those on a trailer tri axle, it is typical that a kit with an additional sensor is chosen as it allows for faster measurement. Use the table below to select your kit part number.
