PROGRAMMING

The Heritage Society is a special group of people who have shown their long-term interest and support of the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCA by either a direct contribution to the Endowment Fund or by including the YMCA in their estate plans.

How can you take part in the Heritage Society?

1. An outright gift to the YMCA Endowment Fund of cash, securities, property or other marketable assets.

2. Creation of a unitrust, annuity trust, gift annuity, pooled income fun, short-term trust or other life estate program.

3. Naming the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs as the eventual recipient of life insurance.

4. Naming the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs to receive a bequest in one’s will.

The goal of the YMCA’s Endowment Fund is to create assets to produce a portion of the Association’s annual operating fund as well as to fund special projects as designated by the Board of Directors.

A strong endowment will help assure a strong and viable YMCA for future generations.

We thank those who have made a commitment to the YMCA with a planned gift.

Please contact Donna Ayer, Director of Community Development, at 860-426-9510 if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule a meeting to look at gifts which provide tax advantages.
