Our leisure Guide is a magazine that we hope meets the needs of our citizens
in choosing activities and programs that we provide for our residents.
Our programs and the upkeep of our facilities is our Council’s focus on having a healthy
community and well maintained facilities for the public.
We are continually approving funding to maintain and upgrade these facilities, which
will allow us to preserve all of our facilities in the best condition for sport and recreation
year round. Our staff continue to explore all possible grant funding that would assist in
bringing these projects to fruition.
Feel free to contact our leisure service Department if you would like to inquire about
certain programs, activities or to see certain programs improved upon. Our leisure
service Department is located on our website or in the staff directory in the guide.
We want to thank our staff and sponsors for their continued support in creating this all
important leisure Guide.
Neil L Menard ~ Mayor, City of Merritt
