Intent to Contribute Statement:

Expression of gratitude to team members for collaborative and creative efforts of support during the high census

days of winter.

Getting through the high census days of winter takes a lot of teamwork, creativity and responsiveness. Coming

up with one more bed often requires last minute juggling, calling on favors and putting your department needs

second to the larger hospital purpose of accommodating patients throughout the hospital. Despite careful

planning , it often takes quick in the moment "heroic" solutions to make it all come together. Our winter heroes

program exemplifies the caritas processes of embrace, nurture, deepen and balance through our appreciation for

managers, assistant managers, house supervisors and staffing team members.
