Welcome:

• Call to Order: 7:05

Reviewed minutes from Fall COC (October 17th):

• Motion to approve minutes by Lodge 11 and a second from Lodge 39.

Lodge Reports:

• Kittatinny Lodge 5: I’d like to thank the section for great and successful #LEAD. Kittatinny sent 16 people to the event. 6 people who were signed up did not attend because of the weather delay. Since the Last COC we have inducted new officers for the 2016 year including myself as the new Lodge Chief. We also hosted a LLD with 46 attendees. I’d like to thank Brandan Olivera for attending and training at the LLD. On April 15-17 and May 20-21 we will be hosting our April and May Service Weekends at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation.

• Sasquesahanough Lodge 11: We appreciated the appearance of our Section Chief and Section Vice-Chief at our Lodge Banquet in mid-January. Lodge Budget for 2016 has been approved by the LEC and is prepped for our March Fellowship and Ordeals this coming spring. PRISM tickets were handed out to people of our lodge who were interested in attending the event. 19-22), 4 confirmed attendees, 9 (at least) expected. We also received a large national grant to help fund the Horseshoe STEM Project, Everyone is invited to our Banquet March 6th at the TCHS in Downingtown

• Wunita Gokhos Lodge 39: Wunita Gokos is first pleased to announce they achieved Gold JTE this year. At our annual LLD, we had about 30 people attend. We converted around 15 members to Brotherhood at our annual Brotherhood Conversion. We are ecstatic to say we earned a national service grant for the building of a Pavilion and bouldering wall. Finally, our next event is Fellowship Apr 22-24 (where we will also be holding our vigil ceremony).

• Guneukitschik Lodge 317: Since the last COC we have a lot going on. First, we spent many hours working on renovating Altenedefer cabin at Camp Sinoquipe as well as raising the funds for the project. We also held our annual LLD and lodge banquet. Both of these events went very well. We finished the year with JTE gold. To start off the New Year we had our lodge snow tubing night. Also, I am pleased to say even after 3 feet of snow and a date change, our lodge brought 12 people to #LEAD and I have heard nothing but positive feedback on it. With all these fun exciting activities in the past we have a lot planned for the spring. We have two work weekends scheduled to get our summer camp ready to go as well as host our council’s spring camporee which is a law enforcement theme. We are also selling a lodge flap to help raise money for a local law enforcement charity. I am looking forward to a great year and excited to see how our NEXT century starts.

Section Officer Reports:

• Section Chief – Brendan Olivera: Had a great time at Dallas, while I was there I took on a position as social media chair for our “NEXT” event. With that being said make sure to spread the word and start “Liking” all of our social media pages. Start pushing the lodge exchange program.

• Section Vice Chief – Vaughn Golden: Brendan and I had a great time during our trifecta weekend and thanked lodges for having them. Taking care of training cells for Conclave.

• Section Secretary – Ryan Johnston: Make sure you send in your Chief reports and let me know if I need to update the section roster.

Finance Report:

• The $410 miscellaneous is from the Chiefs flight to Dallas • Annual closing budget by July • The conclave budget under-performed and that there was not enough detailed

breakdown in all areas of expenses. There was a very modest surplus despite the discrepancies in purchasing of conclave merchandise.
