Winter Camping Seminar More About Winter Camping Seminar The Winter Camping Seminar has two parts: a full day classroom session where you'll learn the necessary skills, and then a field trip where you will put those skills to action by building an igloo and sleeping in it! To participate, scouts must be at least 14 years old. Learn basic winter survival skills and first aid. The seminar addresses all aspects of winter camping and outdoor travel in a condensed class room session that assumes basic backpacking knowledge and builds on that for a fun and safe experience in the Winter.
