Why Change? Why Blackboard?
• ANGEL acquired by Blackboard 2009
• New feature development focused exclusively in Bb
• ANGEL support discontinued by SUNY in 2017
• 30+ campuses to migrate to Bb by 2017
• Consistent student experience across institutions
Timeline
● Fall 2014 semester: Configuration completed/training for first cohort
● Spring 2015 semester: First cohort live on Bb Learn, running ANGEL in parallel
● Summer 2015: Second cohort live on Bb Learn, running ANGEL in parallel
● Fall 2015 Semester: Everyone on Bb Learn, ANGEL decommissioned

Getting Ready ● Weekly migration meeting began on August 5
