We depart on an overnight flight to Rome, Italy with dinner and breakfast served on the plane.

DAY 2 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7Welcome to Rome

Upon arrival, you are greeted by Select International’s Tour Manager who will be with your group during the entire time. He will have a sign with the group name “CatholicMatch & Fr. Leo group.” We board the bus for a two-hour drive south of Rome to the beautiful coastal town of Sorrento. Time permitting, we stop in the Benedictine Abbey of Monte-cassino to visit the historic Abbey and celebrate Mass. Settle into the hotel, meet your fellow travelers for a wel-come drink and dinner. Overnight in Sorrento

DAY 3 SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8Most beautiful coastline in Italy:

Amalfi Coast, Ravello, Minori and Amalfi

Following breakfast, we hop on our bus for a drive along the magnificent Amalfi Coast, considered the most beautiful in Italy and by many in the world. We pass lovely villages, monasteries and beaches stopping in Minori for a Limoncel-lo tasting. We visit the towns of Ravello and Amalfi where we explore the Cathedral of St. Andrew to see the relics of the saint and celebrate Mass. Time for shopping and inde-pendent exploration will be scheduled. Be sure to taste some lemon ice as this is the land of the lemon and orange trees. Tonight we enjoy dinner in a beautiful restaurant "O Parrucchiano.” Overnight in Sorrento.

DAY 4 MONDAY, OCTOBER 9Capri

Following breakfast, we visit the island of Capri by small boats. Weath-er permitting, we will see the incredibly beautiful Blue Grotto (TBC). We have time to explore the town, enjoy a leisurely lunch and take a cable car to the top of the mountain for breathtaking views. Mass will be cele-brated. Dinner at hotel followed by a Tarantella dance show. Overnight in Sorrento. (B. D)

Day 5 Tuesday, October 10Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples

We depart Sorrento following breakfast, for a drive to the volcanic ruins of Pompeii which we tour with a private guide. Mass is celebrated today in the beautiful Rosary Basilica. We have time to shop for red coral from this area before continuing to Naples for a half a day city tour. Our visit includes the Pharmacy at Ospedale degli Incurable and a visit to see the great statue of the "Veiled Christ" (www.museosansevero.it). Naples is the home of the real Napolitano Pizza which we enjoy for lunch. We stop at a local bakery to buy some delicious Neopolitan cookies before continuing on our trip to Rome. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Rome. (B. Special lunch, D)

Day 6 Wednesday, October 11Papal Audience, Christian Rome tour

We depart from the hotel early this morning for the Papal Audience. One of the highlights of our trip will be seeing Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square and receiving his blessing. After lunch we have a visit of the three major basilicas of Rome: St. John Lateran and the Holy Stairs, St. Mary Major, and St. Paul Outside the Walls where we celebrate Mass. Time permitting we visit Tre Fontane convent to see where St. Paul was beheaded. Tonight we have a dinner of pizza and pasta in a local restaurant. Overnight Rome. (B. Special dinner with wine)

Day 7 Thursday, October 12ROME

We celebrate Mass at St Peter's Basilica, followed by a guided tour of the greatest Cathedral in the world. We walk to Castel St Angelo and cross the bridge over the river, walking through the narrow medieval streets to reach the church of San Salvatore in Lauro which is a real shrine in the earth of Rome. Here the Romans venerate Our Lady of Loreto since the year 1600, and a "Sancta Santorum" which contains

the relics of many ancient and modern saints. A not -to-be-missed treat is ice cream at the www.gelateri-adelteatro.it, for some of the best ice cream in Rome! Our walking tour takes us to a trattoria for typical Roman lunch! We walk again after lunch, towards Navona Square, to enjoy some free time to explore on our own. Our tour continues to the Pantheon and finally to the Trevi Fountain, where we throw in a coin and promise to be back to Rome. Dinner is on our own tonight! Overnight Rome.( B. Special lunch)

Day 8 Friday, October 13Rome, Optional tour to Assisi

Day at leisure in Rome to explore the city, visit the Vati-can Museum (you may buy tickets in advance online), the Borghese Gallery or shop and people watch. You may also choose to take a full day tour to Assisi, the town of St. Francis and St. Clare (optional $109.00 per person).

Assisi tour: Our morning starts with a visit to St Francis Basilica. Enjoy a walking city tour of Assisi, marveling at the beautiful sites and the ambiance of this lovely hilltop town. Visit the Church of St. Clare to see her tomb and the San Damiano to see the Cross which spoke to St. Francis. Free for dinner. Overnight Rome. (B.)

Day 9 Saturday, October 14Rome, Foro Appio cooking class

Early this morning we depart to Nettuno to visit Santa Maria Goretti Shrine. We see the beloved saint’s relics and celebrate Mass. Time permitting, we can visit the American cemetery before driving to a lovely area called Foro Appio where we have time to relax and enjoy an afternoon cooking class with Fr. Leo. Tonight we have a farewell dinner in this historic and idyllic spot. Overnight Foro Appio. (B. Special Dinner)

Day 10 Sunday, October 15Transfer to the airport and flight home. (b)
