COLORADO DOMINICAN VOCATION FOUNDATION

e believe that artists are inspired by the divine and that they have a special

vocation to bring beauty into the world and thereby promote the good.

Through the beauty of art, the Colorado Dominican Vocation Foundation

(CDVF), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization promotes interfaith dialogue

and the vocations of the Dominican Order & the living artist. The CDVF accomplishes this

mission by hosting community arts-related events that educate the public about art through

seminars, lectures, salons, exhibitions and plein air events.

The Celebration is a fund-raising event for the Foundation whose primary mission is to

provide spiritual and financial support to the men in Denver studying to become Dominican

friars Dominican novices (1st year students) minister to the poor, the sick, the homeless and

the elderly by volunteering every week at facilities such as Hospice of St John, Samaritan

House, and Mullen Home •
