Take the AC to service place with customers consent. Remove the dust with the help of brush from coils. Clean the coils with air pressure with the help of Air blower. Clean AC with dry clothe. Fix the AC back in cabinet.Check the Current drawn and Temp again.Steps for ServicingDry Service Check the current drawn & Temp.(Grill & return) before removing the AC from Cabinet. Take the AC to service place with customers consent. Remove the dust with the help of brush from coils. Clean the coils with air pressure with the help of Air blower. Cover the Fan motor, PCB and other electrical parts. Wash the coils with water pressure. Scalegon can be used in case AC is too dirty. Use air blower for removing water from coils. Put the AC back in the cabinet and check the Current drawn and temp. Steps for ServicingWet ServicePerformance testing ProcedureStabilizerLNEStart the Unit & Run for 20 Min in Cooling mode (Set at 18 C).2. Check Ampere drawn by the unit

3. Check the Outside/Ambient (A) Temperature. (Ex: 42 C)Typically, Ampere drawn is:1 Ton = 5 to 6.2 Amps1.5 Ton = 8 to 9.5 Amps2 Ton = 9 to 11.8 Amps4. Check Return Temperature (R) Temperature (Ex: 34 C)5. Check Grill Temperature (G) Temperature (Ex: 9 C)Note: In average, the Grill Temperature is in between 8 C to 12 C. If the Grill Temperature is more than 12 C even under extreme hot conditions (Room Temperature = 38 C), the performance is poor or cooling is less.Window AC TroubleshootingMachine Not WorkingCustomer Voice : A/C have no display / Display not working Check Socket & Stabilizer output.Check Fuse.Check wiring connection. If all these things are ok then replace PCB.Fault finding techniqueFunctions Not WorkingCustomer Voice : Display showing CL/Functions not working Unit should be on Standby.Press & hold Temp down & Swing button for 5 seconds.Child lock option will disable. No CoolingCustomer voice : AC not cooled properly / only hot air comes / No cooling.Check Socket, Stabilizer output & Usage.Switch on the AC. Wait till 3 4 minute & observe compressor working.Observation : Compressor not workingRemove AC from outer cover.Check supply on compressor common & running point. (wait till 3 - 4 min. after switching on the AC).If supply comesCheck capacitor.Check compressor. (If compressor is trip - hot then wait for 2 hrs for internal overload will connect winding again) If supply not comesCheck wiring. If there is no additional relay then replace pcb.Fault finding techniqueObservation : Compressor is working.Check Ampere on main lead. (Match with ampere understanding page).Proper ampere comesClean filter.Check requirement of service.Check fan motor & speed. (Dust on blower, Fan capacitor & fan blade).Do the performance test.

If all these things are Ok that means AC have no technical problem.Proper ampere not comesCheck ampere is high or less2. Check requirement of servicing.LessCheck gas (gas short or leakage)HighCheck running capacitor.Check loose connection in wiring. After that things to be observedCheck room size & Proper installation.Check gap from sides & behind the condenser. (sides : minimum 6 inch & behind exposed to atmosphere).Check usage, Door openings, Ventilator settings, Direct sun light on condenser, Glass window in the room, weather condition & Heat load.Fault finding techniqueWater leakageCustomer voice : Water is leaking from AC / Water is not going out.

Check water leakage from inside or outside.

Water leakage from inside Check installation (Slope between 2 mm to 5 mm)Check ice on evaporator. (Check gas & Fan speed).Check dust in drain slope & drain pipe.Check drain pipe should not be dipped in water. If necessary remove rubber plug.Check weather condition. (High humidity)Water leakage from outsideCheck cradle. (increase the length)Fault finding techniqueRemote not working

Customer voice: Remote is not working / Some button is not working in remote1. Check remote (testing procedure for remote) Remote is OK Check battery (Week)Check distance (Not more then 5 mtr)If all those things are OK then replace display PCB.Remote not OkReplace Battery (Dead)Clean carbon or rust on remote springs. If all those things are OK then replace remote.Testing procedure for remote1st step : Switch on camera on mobile.2nd Step : Bring the remote in front of lens.3rd step : press the button on remote. If light blinks on the screen on mobile, that means remote is OK.Fault finding techniqueError comingCustomer voice: E 1 / F 1 comes at starting timeE 1 or F1 error : Room sensor failure or PCB takes no feedback from room sensor.

Check room sensor ( bellow location & Value )Sensor wiring. If all the things are OK then replace PCB.E 2 or F2 error : Coil sensor failure or PCB not taking feedback from coil sensor.Check coil sensor (Coil sensor should touch the evaporator coil with proper value)Check wiring. If all the things are OK then replace PCB.Customer voice : E 2 / F 2 Comes at starting timeFault finding techniqueCustomer voice : FL error comes when AC is workingFL error : This error comes every time after 240 hrs of running by AC.

After cleaning the filter put AC on stand by mode and press power button for 2 sec. FL error will be reset. If still the same problem occurs then replace pcb.Fault finding technique
