Collin's & Sim- mons' Timber and Box- ing Axes, Knives and Forks, Pocket Knives, Heavy and Kip Brogans ?TRHE preceding figure is given to represent the in-yJ- L sensible perspiration It is the great Evacuation for the impurities of the body. It will be noticed that a thick cloudy mist issues from all points of the surface, which indicates that this perspiration flows uninterrup- tedly when we are in health, but ceases when we are sick. Life cannot be sustained without it. It is thrown off from the blood and other juices of the body, and dis- poses by this means, of nearly all the impurities within us. The language of Scripture is, " in the BLOOD is the Life." If it ever becomes impure, it may be traced di- rectly to the stoppage of the Insensible Perspiration. Thus we see all that is neceseary when the blood is stag- nant, or infected, is lo open the pores, and it relieves it- self from all impurity instantly. Its own heat and vi- tality are sufficient, withoutone particle of uifdicine, ex- cept' to open the pores upon the surface. Thus we see the folly of taking so much internal remedies. All prac- titioners, however, direct their efforts to restore the In- sensible Perspiration. The Thompsonian, for instance, steams, the Hydropathist shrouds us in wet blankets, the Homopathist deals out infinitissimals, the Pholopathist bleeds and doses us with mercury, and the blustering Quack gorges us withpills, pills, pills. To give some idea of the amount of the Insensible Per- spiration, we will state that the learned Dr. Lewenhock ascertained that five-eight- s of all we receive into the stomach, passed offby this means. In other words, if we eat and drink eight pounds per day, we evacuate five pounds of it by the Insensible Perspiration. This is none other than the used up particles of the blood, and other juices giving place to the new and fresh ones. To check this, therefore, Is to retain in the sys- tem live-eight- s of all the virulent matter that nature de- mands should leave the body. By a sudden transition from heat to cold, the pores are stopped the perspiration ceases, and disease begins at once to develope itself. Hence, a stoppage of this flow of the juices, originates so many complaints. It is by stopping the pores, that overwhelms mankind with coughs, colds, and consumption. Nine-tenths- the world die from diseases induced by a stoppage of the In- sensible Perspiration. Let me ask, -- now, every candid mind, what course seems the most reasonable to pursue, to unstop the pores, after they are closed. Would you give physic to unstop the pores 1 Or would you apply something that would do this upon the surface, where the clogging actually is? And yet I know of no physician who makes any exter- nal application to effect it. Under these circumstances, I present to physicians, and all others, McAlister's ALL-HEaLIN- OINTMENT, or the WORLD'S SALVE. ?TRHE preceding figure is given to represent the in-yJ- L

sensible perspiration It is the great Evacuationfor the impurities of the body. It will be noticed that athick cloudy mist issues from all points of the surface, which indicates that this perspiration flows uninterrup-tedly when we are in health, but ceases when we aresick. Life cannot be sustained without it. It is thrownoff from the blood and other juices of the body, and dis-poses by this means, of nearly all the impurities withinus. The language of Scripture is, " in the BLOOD is theLife." If it ever becomes impure, it may be traced di-

rectly to the stoppage of the Insensible Perspiration. Thus we see all that is neceseary when the blood is stag-nant, or infected, is lo open the pores, and it relieves it-

self from all impurity instantly. Its own heat and vi-

tality are sufficient, withoutone particle of uifdicine, ex-cept' to open the pores upon the surface. Thus we seethe folly of taking so much internal remedies. All prac-titioners, however, direct their efforts to restore the In-

sensible Perspiration. The Thompsonian, for instance, steams, the Hydropathist shrouds us in wet blankets, theHomopathist deals out infinitissimals, the Pholopathistbleeds and doses us with mercury, and the blusteringQuack gorges us withpills, pills, pills.

To give some idea of the amount of the Insensible Per-spiration, we will state that the learned Dr. Lewenhockascertained that five-eight- s of all we receive into thestomach, passed offby this means. In other words, if weeat and drink eight pounds per day, we evacuate fivepounds of it by the Insensible Perspiration.

This is none other than the used up particles of theblood, and other juices giving place to the new and freshones. To check this, therefore, Is to retain in the sys-tem live-eight- s of all the virulent matter that nature de-mands should leave the body.

By a sudden transition from heat to cold, the pores arestopped the perspiration ceases, and disease begins atonce to develope itself. Hence, a stoppage of this flowof the juices, originates so many complaints.

It is by stopping the pores, that overwhelms mankindwith coughs, colds, and consumption. Nine-tenths- theworld die from diseases induced by a stoppage of the In-sensible Perspiration.

Let me ask, -- now, every candid mind, what courseseems the most reasonable to pursue, to unstop the pores, after they are closed. Would you give physic to unstopthe pores 1 Or would you apply something that woulddo this upon the surface, where the clogging actually is?And yet I know of no physician who makes any exter-nal application to effect it. Under these circumstances,I present to physicians, and all others, McAlister's ALL-HEaLIN-

OINTMENT, or the WORLD'S SALVE. Ithas PO A'ER to restore perspiration on the feet, on thehead, around old sores, upon the chest, in short upon any
