His deep understanding of human nature and a broad knowledge contributed to his development of vivid and varied characters from many walks of life and his creative use of language. Shakespeare's knowledge included music, law, the Bible, military science, politics, the sea, history, hunting, woodcraft, sports, and theater. In his literary works, he wrote of Kings, drunkards, generals, pickpockets, shepherds, hired killers and thugs, and philosophers. His understanding of people and their nature enabled him to create dramatic characters whose struggles and often failures extended beyond the setting of his plays.

Poetry:

In his poetry, the Sonnets are considered as the exotic flowers in British poetry world that times. Shakespeare's sonnets comprise a collection of 154 poems in the sonnet form by William Shakespeare. Their themes are love, beauty, poetry and the effects of time on all three. They were probably written over a period of several years, early in Shakespeare's literary career.

Enjoying :Shall I compare thee to a summer's dayShall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou are more lovely and more temperate:Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,And summer's lease hath all too short a date:

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,. And often is his gold complexion dimmed,. And every fair from fair sometime declines,By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed:But thy eternal summer shall not fade,.

Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest,

Nor shall death brag thou wanderest in his shade,

When in eternal lines

to time thou growest,

So long as men can

breathe, or eyes can see,

So long lives this,

and this gives life to thee.

This is one of the most famous of all the sonnets, justifiably so. perhaps in the early days of his love,

there is no such self-doubt and the eternal summer of the youth is preserved forever in the poet's lines. The poem also works at a rather curious level of achieving its objective through dispraise. The summer's day is found to be lacking in so many respects (too short, too hot, too rough, sometimes too dingy), but curiously enough one is left with the abiding impression that 'the lovely boy' is in fact like a summer's day at its best, fair, warm, sunny, temperate, one of the darling buds of May, and that all his beauty has been wonderfully highlighted by the comparison.

One sentence can express my feeling : A sincere love was once presented before me .Yet I did not cherish its loss. Alas ,no agony on earth could be compared with this. If God will kindly give me more chance, I will say to him: I love you .If there must have a time frame to that love, I hope it will stretch ten thousand years!
