High Level
- Driving the implementation and management of Group HSSE Policies and Standards – specifically DSS, IM and CoW and local policies – specifically MoC within the Asset Management.
- Analysing HSE incidents and identifying trends. These trends will be the basis for identifying key focus areas.
- Monitor the Asset Management reports going into Traction and ensure that they are both complete and of the required standard to meet group requirements.
- Conduct investigations and monitor to conclusion HSES related incidents within Asset Management with a view to preventing recurrence, minimising injury, loss, and business interruption claims and ensuring that remedial action is taken.
- Network with local Oil Industry Players as well as BP Global Teams in order to implement best practices and share lessons learnt.
- Establish clear IM accountabilities and ensure staff significantly impacted by IM and CoW standards undertake competency assessments and develop competency action plans to close identified competency gaps. If any major gaps arising from the assessment process are identified which may impact on the ability of an individual to safely perform their duties then an immediate intervention needs to be made to avoid any safety risk.
- Provide centre of expertise and knowledge on environmental, health and safety management within Sales by providing support across business and giving assurance that people and assets are protected against unsafe operations.
- Ensure full compliance with Group Assurance requirements and effective implementation of BP contractual obligations including the utilisation of BP assets.Balanced Scorecard Pillars, Roles and Responsibilities:
- Group OMS BP strategic direction and benchmark SHEQ Practices and Systems against Best Practice with other producers.
- Development of web based contractor management System with leading and lagging indicators.
- Management and compliance enforcement of 580 contractor companies.- Contract negotiation pre construction reviews.- Project planning and scoping and development of Client specifications.- Customer liaison and compiling project related reports.- Management and co-ordination of project teams including customer representatives,
consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.- Project – and resource – planning and the maintenance of up-to-date programs.- Departmental and Contract budgeting and cost control reporting.- Annual and monthly financial planning - Invoicing and cash flow forecasting.- Co-ordination and supervision of design work, construction and commissioning of projects.- Quality assurance ISO 9001 quality standards.
