Cross:This only applies to Guards and tackles. If the cue "cross"is called it means the linemen on the playside cross block.Guard will pull back and out and Tackle will block down.

Left:Left tells the "Left Guard" to pull to the hole called. It alsotells the back field runners who are not getting the ball theyare base running left. This also tells teh left tackle to block'Man Over'

Right:Right tells the "Right Guard" to pull to the same hole asthe play is called. If no one there for the kick out follow intohole looking for first wrong color jersey.

Sweep:On "Sweep" call the (TE) blocks the defender on hisoutside shoulder. The FB blocks whoever is covering theTE for a pass. Usually Sam.

Jet 17 Power

Speed:On Speed plays the LT pulls and blocks the furthestoutside defender on the field but goes behind the DE to doit. The HB "load" blocks the DE. The Backside cuts offpursuit useing ITB or (REACH) rule.

Toss:The both Guard and QB both go though the hole calledwith the backside pulling guard blocking inside for alinebacker once he passes thought the holeand the QBblocking the furthest second row defender.

Counter:FB steps with misdirection step and a head fake to tehopposite direction of the play call and tehn cuts back theother way and either takes the handoff or blocks theweakside DE. The HB runs pitch route way from holecalled. Example is a Base 23 Counter.

Gun Base 33 Quick

Mini:Guard and Tackle close down to "0" inch splits. Used whenopponents are prone to blitzing A and B gaps and against"gap" defense. We will also use in our 'Wedge' series.

Maxi:Guard and Tackle expand to 2 feet gaps. We use againstdefenses that play head-up on the OL. this also opens upthe 3 and 4 holes for better trapping angles and for our 33and 34 'Quick' plays.

Quick:This is for the QB tells him to open directly to the playside.No reverse pivot. Shown is a 33 Quick

Gun:From all of our formations we can simply say "Gun"QB / FB and HB simply take 3 steps back. Use for our tripcall. Also if we are looking to gain space.

The Jet Motion is started on one.The Wing back runs in between the QB and theHB. At full speed. Used for Jet Sweeps / Kickoutblocks on DE .

Base motion is called at any time. Used to blockeither the first inside man to TE or DE on theoutside. Must be square no crack backs.
