The Boardwalk Inn Wild Dunes Resort Wild Dunes Resort is owned and operated by Destination Hotels & Resorts . Since the Resort owns the greatest single share of Wild Dunes property, its owners and directors take an active interest in the Community Association. The Resort holds a perpetual seat on the Board of Directors that is filled by the Managing Director. In accordance with the Covenants and Restrictions, the Resort is a voting member of the Community Association. The total number of votes allocated to the Resort is based upon the assessable commercial square footage of its facilities and the amount of the annual commercial assessment paid to the Community Association. As a successor to the real estate developer and under the original parameters of the Planned Development District (PDD) zoning regulations, the Resort may construct 2500 residential units and 350 hotel rooms. The Board of Directors Don Smith, 2005 President The Wild Dunes Community Association Board of Directors is comprised of six members elected by the property owners and one member appointed by Wild Dunes Resort.
