The Gravity Rush walkthrough is separated exactly like the game, by episodes. Click on a link below to navigate to that episode.

Episode 1: From Oblivion

The first episode of Gravity Rush goes over the controls, to begin, press the “New Game” button. After beginning the game, tap the apple multiple times to begin the opening cutscene. You awake below an apple tree, use the left analog stick to move Kat around the environment. Run up the nearby stairs until you come to a door, a mysterious man will ask for your help to save his son. Follow him and he will lead you to his son, and a gravity storm! You will then gain control of both the camera and of gravity. Use the right analog stick to move the camera around, and the right bumper to control gravity (you can use the left bumper to return to normal gravity). Follow the waypoints using your gravity shifting powers and go save the boy. After making your way into the town, you’ll see a crow fly by and you’ll be tasked with following it. This shouldn’t be too hard, as the crow will stop for you once you get to far away.  After this you’ll have to talk to the owner of the crow, and then you’ll be treated to a cutscene.

Episode 2: Shadows Over the City

Your quickly introduced to a member of the police named Syd, who seems to have gotten into a pickle with some criminals. After helping him out, you must defeat the monsters causing trouble in the city. Attacking them is very simple, just a small press of the square button is good enough, however there are many other types of attack to be unlocked. Eventually, you’ll come across some flying enemies, unlike ground-based enemies; these enemies require that you use your gravity kick. To perform a gravity kick, use the right bumper to bring your self into the air, then aim the reticule at the enemy and press the square button. After dealing with the enemies, you’ll be tasked with finding a fountain, tap select to view your map and set a navi point.  The officer at the fountain will tell you to collect 10 precious gems. After completing the task, the fountain will begin working and you will gain access to a challenge mission, which will award you with even more gems. The game will explain the upgrade system and then leave you to do whatever you please, you can explore, find gems, or just go to the next episode. 

Episode 3: Home Sweet Home

After falling into a drain, you’ll find yourself in the sewer system. After electing to make one of the pipes your home, your tasked with finding furniture. After engaging in a short battle with the Nevi, you will have your first piece of furniture, a new chair. Using your stasis field (circle button) you can bring the chair back to your new home. Using your map, you can find others with unwanted furniture. After meeting back up with Syd on your travels, he’ll direct you towards a comfy little bed… surrounded by a horde of Nevi! Take out the monsters and then use the stasis field to move the bed back to your place. After that, you’ll be treated to a short cutscene and the episode will end.

Episode 21: No Rest for the Virtuous

Rare Nevi Locations

Rare Nevis are elusive monsters that can be defeated for the game hunter Trophies. Keep in mind that when fighting these rare Nevi, sometimes special attacks are ineffective against them.

Here are their locations:

Rift Planes: The Ruins

At the ruins located after the second flower, fly to the very bottom and go through the entrance in the floor.

Tips: This Nevi can't be hurt by special attacks!  

Rift Planes: The Inferno

Around the same general area is an opening with a wooden border. Enter to activate the second Nevi.

Rift Planes: The Mirage

After the second flower but before the third, there is a floating red ball of some sort on the far right side. Approach this red ball to make the Nevi spawn.

DLC

Downloadable content add-ons will soon follow the release of Gravity Rush's core game. The PlayStation Blog detailed three DLC packs, the first of which -- called Military Pack -- is free if the game is purchased digitally during launch week (this week as of this edit!). That's from now, June 12, until June 19.

Each of the three pieces of DLC fluffs up playtime by adding a handful of new missions, granting new Trophies to collect, and giving Kat a new outfit.

Release Dates

In addition to the Military Pack (to be released on July 24), the Spy and Maid Pack will be available on June 26 and July 10, respectively.

Price

Each DLC will cost 3.99USD on the PlayStation Network store.

Kat

Kat is the gravity-shifting portagonist of Gravity Rush. Her pet cat named Dusty gives her the ability to change her center of gravity and stand on walls and cellings.
