Why Is Camping My Favorite Activity?

By: Sydney Borowiak

Page 2: Why is camping my favorite activity

The first time I experienced the joys of camping was at 4 years old with Jake Prusakiewicz. From then on all I was eager to do was roll around in the muddy shores.

Camping not only led me to amazing stories, but to one of the most special people in my life; Hannah Wagar. She is still my best friend from the age of 5.

Her father is the reason it is a tradition to camp every summer. He started it and when he passed away everyone continued the trips in his honor.

Mountain biking is the main transportation during your stay. Whether it is for fun or a sweat on challenging trails.

SINGING ON STAGE AND PUTTING ON

SKITS WAS ALSO THE BEST BACK IN

THE WOODS. AS WE GROW OLDER WE

NOW CARVE OUR NAMES INTO THE

WOODEN SIDE YEARLY, EXPECTING

THEM TO BE WORN AWAY NEXT YEAR.

Getting tan is one of my absolute priorities come summer time! Beaching it daily helps achieve this easily.

Word games like telephone, humorous stories, and

crisp s’mores are always a perfect way to end a long,

stress-free day. Every year our campsite gets in trouble

for being too loud and obnoxious past “quiet time.”

Just as the sun rises, the first person up goes to the store three miles up the road to get three dozen doughnuts every morning. They are to die for.

Yet, I always dread packing up and saying goodbyes. They are devastating but always lead us to look

forward to the next camping trip and new friends.
