Did you know…?• All these pictures were taken in the USA – the

richest country in the world with over 400 billionaires!

• Yet Africa only has 5!• So why are environmental obstacles not the only

reason why there is a gap in wealth around the world?

• Although environmental obstacles can affect development, it is often political and historical factors that have the largest effect.
