Some of our most unique programs include Biomanufacturing, CNC Precision Machining, Culinary Arts and Green Building Technology. • e college currently offers 26 one-year certificate programs, all designed to transition students from the classroom to a career. • More than 50 of ECC’s 925 faculty members have earned their doctorates; and more than 100 current and former faculty members are recipients of the prestigious SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence. • ECC earned a spot among the nation’s leading associate degree institutions in Community College Week’s “Top 100 Associate Degree and Certificate Producers” issue for the sixth consecutive year (2014). A student-first environment Classroom and campus atmosphere helps ease students into their college start—and excel to the finish • Spring 2014 enrollment: 12,929 students (8,009 full-time and 4,920 part- time), good for a 15-1 student-to-teacher ratio. 47 percent of students attend North Campus; 28 percent attend South Campus and 25 percent attend City Campus. • Students can enter ECC, pursue training for immediate employment, start toward a two-year degree, or feel their way through their first college courses before transferring credits to one of many local and national colleges or universities. • ECC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association with 13 men’s and women’s programs like basketball, baseball, football, hockey and volleyball. e college has won 125 Region III Championships and 54 NJCAA Championships.
