Security Update for St. John’s Plans are currently underway to improve the security of our parish. We have contracted with ADT to install 13 cameras around the interior and exterior of the building and a monitor and intercom system in the office. These cameras will record all that takes place within and around the building 24 hours a day. In addition to cameras, we are looking into hiring a security guard for worship services and special events. We are also in the process of having all our exterior doors repaired. As some of you have already discovered, the repaired doors are now much easier to open and close. However, they must still be pushed or pulled shut! We ask that you all be diligent in closing any door that you see open. This small deed can go a long way in keeping our church safe.
Vestry Tuesday Vestry meets this Tuesday at 7:00pm.
Camp Crucis Summer is here, and that means CAMP CRUCIS!! Please be in prayer for all our youth going off to Senior Camp this week and those who will be attending other sessions throughout the summer. For more information, go to www.campcrucis.org.
Congratulations David Gordon! The results are in! David Gordon placed 4th in the 75-79 age category 1500 Meter Race Walk and 2nd in the 5K Race Walk at the National Senior Games (NSGA) last weekend in Albuquerque, NM. Congratulations and Happy 78th Birthday, David! (David and his wife Cassie have been faithfully attending the Saturday Vigil for many years. If you do not have the pleasure of knowing this lovely couple, it is encouraged to drop in on a Saturday and say hello!)
New Tabernacle in Honor of Fr. Klein’s 20th Anniversary at St. John’s The Tabernacle has been fully funded! Thank you all for being so quick to honor our Rector; he is both humbled and grateful! (Note: All extra money raised will be put into the Memorial Fund and used at the altar.)

Announcements
The Garth Please help us take care of the Garth. If you bring flowers or a plant to the Garth where a loved one is buried, please remember to reclaim it within a reasonable time. It is best not to leave potted plants because the pot will kill the ground covering. The area becomes unsightly until the ground covering has a chance to grow back. Thanks!
Toiletries Drive for SCAC We are collecting toiletries the South Central Alliance of Churches. All items can be placed in the outreach box in the hallway between the Sanctuary and Mitchell Hall. If making a monetary gift, label “toiletries” in the memo before dropping it in the collection plate. The following family-sized items are greatly appreciated:
toilet paper boxed tissue bars of soap
men’s deodorant women’s deodorant
disposable razors shaving cream
shampoo toothpaste
toothbrushes tampons or sanitary pads
Thank you, Karen Clark! We’d like to thank Karen Clark for filling in while Alan is on vacation. Thank you for your service!
