Issue 2 | December 2017 Dear Fellow Cadets: First of all, l would like to congratulate the following cadets who have advanced during the past two months. Advancement is largely a self-directed task that involves motivation and disci- pline. While advancement to C/PO3 is part of the NS1 curriculum, advancement beyond that is set at your own pace. Thus, it is highly recommended that you set goals and use the resources below to achieve C/CPO, ideally within 2-3 years in the program. Attend monthly training sessions (Fridays, 1430-1630). Take academic and practical exams in class with SNSI and NSI’s Train and/or take practical exams with the following class representatives for the fall: Steven Stabler (Block 1), Mat- thew Dirndorfer (Block 2), Ryan Wisco- vitch & Andrew Mosiychuk (Block 4) Take academic exams with Training Officer or Executive Officer Dirndorfer. Check the unit website for training news and Advancement information (under Cadet Info and Chain of Com- mand) which I am updating periodi- cally.
