Who would be the audience for your media product?

The target audience.The target audience of my music magazine is young adult aged between 16-19, for both male and female. I have chosen this particular audience because of the primary research I have produced(questionnaire). The results of my questionnaire helps me to apply it to my music magazine so it can be more appealing to my audience.

When thinking about the target audience of my music magazine, I also have to consider about the music genres. The music genre is really important because it will narrow down the audience and therefore will make it easier to attract the specific audience. I have presented the music genre of rock/R&B through the usage of colours. The colours of rock famous music magazine are tend to be in the dark theme colour. This has inspired me to create my rock music magazine in the dark tone colour. In addition to this, since my my music magazine have a mixture of R&B, I have toned down the colour on m double page spread because I think it would be more suitable for R&B music genre.

There are many different ways that my audience can use my music magazine. For example, my audience can use my music magazine for a new inspirations from their favorite artists, which

will helps our younger generation to respond in more

positive way. Also, this magazine could help the

audience to update a new trends and what’s going on in

the music world. This may help the audience to have the other

topic to gossip with their friends, therefore they will

develop the communication skills and better relationship.
