Take-home message: The action plan provides a road map and a set of actions which, when performed collectively by Member States, WHO other UN organizations, NGOs and the private sector entities will achieve 9 global targets for NCDs, including a 25% reduction in premature mortality from cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, or chronic respiratory diseases by 2025.
