Who Am I ? Raised in Mabton, Washington, I made my Yankees debut on the mound in 1964 and played my entire 11-year career in pinstripes. After spending time as a pitching coach with the Mets and Astros, I returned to the Bronx to serve as pitching coach under new manager Joe Torre prior to the 1996 season. In 2015, with my family in attendance for Old-Timers’ Day, the Yankees surprised me with a plaque in Monument Park.
