Property Manager Report It's getting exciting watching the park come to life.
I haven't been doing Rain Dancing and I wish I
could do Sun Dancing to get out of this rainy
weather, but it doesn't seem to stop. It is supposed
to rain all next week.
I am gaining momentum getting acclimated to the
responsibilities of the job of Property Manager.
This past month was a little hectic trying to get
everything completed for the opening of the park
for the season.
We have installed 2 new hot water heaters, one in
BH #1 and one in the Club House. Both bathhouses
are now open and the roof on bathhouse #2 is
completed. The marina is open for the boating and
fishing season. There are a few minor touch ups to
complete everything. The bicycles are ready for the

Guard Shack.
The pool cover has been removed and the pool

PRESIDENTS CORNER
I am writing this article to you from Cancun, wish
you could be here.
The park is on a roll this month, getting ready for
the season.
The camera system is underway and should be
completed by months end.
We are looking forward to the Memorial Day
Picnic. I hope you will be able to attend. We are
planning on having some games for the kids and
adults too, if they want. Good food and good fun.
I would like to thank Janice, Becca and Bob for the
great job they are doing. I know they will be ready
for everyone to return to the park. We are a little
short handed right now since Doug has to be off for
a short time. He and Joe had things pretty much
under control before Doug went out.
The units are going to be inspected by the ECC this
month. I know alot of you have already started and
we appreciate that. It benefits all of us in the park.
Please put your LOT # on ALL CHECKS and correspondence to the office.

MAINTENANCE Our maintenance men, Doug and Joe have been working hard opening up the marina and getting
WHP ready for the upcoming season.
If you walk your dog in the boat yard, please remember that scooping your dogs poop applies
there as well.
The grass cutters have started for the season. They will be cutting the north end of WHP on Wednesdays and the south end on Thursdays. Please be mindful of these times if you have
vehicles or furniture that need to be moved in order to weedwack and cut the lawn around your
All meetings except annual meeting held 10am – WHP Clubhouse
3rd Saturday of each month May 21
June 25 (Annual Meeting) held at Showell Elementary School

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to
attend. Your opinions and concerns matter!
MARINA UPDATE Nine slips became available this year at the
marina. Four owners that were on the waiting list
turned down the offer for a slip this year. We were
able to offer a boat slip up to #13 on the wait list.
There are currently forty four (44) owners on the
waiting list. A new list is posted at the marina.
We have received the approval from the BOD’s to
construct a kayak rack. We will start building this
right away. All Kayaks must have WHP stickers.
You can purchase a sticker in the office. The cost is
$35.00. Please contact the marina committee to
reserve a space on the new kayak rack.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy boating
season!

GO PAPERLESS
Want to help the environment and save money for our community? Help WHP go paper-less! You can have your bills and newsletters e-mailed to you. This allows us to get it to you quicker, saves money on postage and paper and of course, saves a tree
or two. We already have quite a few residents
using this system and we are hoping to have
more. Please contact the office to make the
change. As always, monthly dues are not
billed. These payments are regularly made by
our home owners on the first of each month.
Thanks for helping us make WHP office more
efficient.
WHP Playground has
been updated for safety and fun in the last year.
We have added new playground equipment and
will be adding a border and more sand in the
upcoming months. The children seem to love
the new jungle gym/sliding boards as well as
the digger, merry go round and jet ski bouncer.
Located next to the new pavilion, where you
can relax while the kids play.
White Horse Park will hold a Flea
Market on June 18th
.
In past years, our flea markets have been very
successful. Open to non-residents. Held rain or
shine, in the Club House & Enclosed Pavilion.
Breakfast and coffee will be available for sale as
well.
Please call the office early to reserve a table.
