Co-op scholarship programs, offered to domestic students only, have been established by UNSW and industry to provide financial support and industry training to high-achieving students.

The programs combine the academic rigour of a degree with 18 months of industry experience with highly sought after sponsor organisations and a substantial tax-free scholarship paid on a per annum basis for the duration of the degree. There is also professional development and leadership training and mentoring from an academic co-ordinator.

ADDITIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:You are required to lodge a separate UNSW Co-op Program application with the Co-op Office in addition to a UAC application. For more information (including application deadline), visit: co-op.unsw.edu.au

BONUS POINTSHSC Plus is designed to reward strong performance in Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (Year 12) subjects relevant to UNSW undergraduate degrees.

Domestic students who complete an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate and perform well in subjects that are relevant to their preferred UNSW degree may be awarded a maximum of 5 bonus points.

The following programs are not included in HSC Plus: — Actuarial Studies (including dual degrees) — Actuarial Studies (Co-op) — Commerce (Co-op) — Commerce (Co-op) (Honours) — Commerce (International) — Information Systems (Co-op) (Honours) — Dual Law degree with Actuarial Studies, Commerce

Elite Athletes and Performers Bonus Points (EAP) awards up to 5 bonus points to high school leavers who have excelled in areas of sport, academia, leadership, and/or music at an elite level. Activities and/or commitments must have been undertaken in years 11 and/or 12.

If you experience long-term educational disadvantage, and wish to be considered under the ACCESS Scheme, you are required to lodge a separate UAC Educational Access Scheme (EAS) application in addition to a UAC application.
