HUNGARY:Where is your Xbox from? Xbox is made by a U.S. company: Microsoft, but the Xbox in your house isn’t from the U.S.A.

Microsoft has factories all over the world. This Xbox is from a factory in Hungary!

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:

Pencils are easy to make. There are many factories all around the world. The first factory in the U.S.A. was built by a man from Germany. His name was John Eberhard Faber.

Making a pencil:First a block of wood is cut into slabs. Then grooves are cut into the slabs, this is where the lead will go. Then two slabs are glued together. Later the slabs are cut, painted and erasers are added.

FINLAND:

Do you have a Nokia mobile phone? Nokia phones are from Finland. They also have factories in England, Kenya, and China.

TAIWAN:Taiwan is an island near China. Many mountain bikes come from China, but also from Taiwan. Where is your mountain bike from?

Did you know that Fanta is owned by the Coca Cola company? They made Fanta

in Germany during World War II when there weren’t any ingredients to make Coca Cola. Now a lot of people drink Fanta instead of Coca Cola. What’s your favourite soft drink?
