What Age?• Your child should visit the dentist
by his or her 1st birthday.
Tips and Suggestions for the First Dental Visit
• Refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear, such as :
• “needle”, “pull”, “drill” or “hurt”.
• If your child is over the age of 3, we ask that you allow them to accompany our staff through the dental experience by themselves.
• We strive to make each and every visit to our office a fun one! Parents should also do their part while driving to and from the dentist office, too!
REMEMBERIf your son or daughter experiences separation anxiety and negative behavior, you can trust our staff to help your children through this. We are trained and experienced to help your child become comfortable and excited to go to the dentist. Your kids are in great hands!
