Once you have an account, reselect our sale from their homepage and then click on “Register For A Buyers Number” in the top right corner of the screen. Have your bank’s name, city, state, phone number and a bank contact name ready to register for a buyers number. Please note that being approved for a buyers number does not happen instantly, so it is best to register for your number prior to when you are ready to bid. To bid on a lot, you must click on their sale lot number and select your bidding option. “Next Bid,” “Current Bid,” “Proxy Bid,” and “Manual Bid” buttons are seen below the video area. The screen will automatically tell you if “You Are In” or if “You Are Out”. PROXY BIDS: Using a proxy bid allows you to enter your maximum bid and the system will automatically bid on your behalf, up to your set maximum. The system will compare your bid to other registered bidders and will only use as much of your maximum to obtain the highest bid at that time. If the lot sells for less than your maximum bid, you will only pay that amount. If another bidder has a higher maximum, you will be outbid and the system will say, “You Are Out!” but if you have the highest maximum you will win the final bid. Using a proxy bid means you don’t have to come back to the computer to re-bid every time another bid is placed. You can also use a proxy bid during the final close-out if needed. Your maximum bidding amount is kept confidential from other bidders and the seller; only you can see it on the screen. APRIL 22 - FINAL BIDDING/CLOSE-OUT PROCESS: Close-out bidding begins at 7:00 p.m. on April 22nd. Lots will then be sold one after another until all lots have been sold. The close-out process is your last chance to bid on each lot. SEMEN: All semen lots sell times the number of units. Signings are not included. DELIVERY: Shipping at buyer’s expense.
