What’s up 3rd issue Hanging around in the Cafés If you have free me and you don’t know what to do in Roverway, going to a café is always a good idea. There you will meet new people or see old friends. An exep- on of the opening hours is that all the cafés are closed during Party for Love starng at 21.00 on Thursday and the Closing Ceremony on Friday evening. There are different kinds of cafés in the camp so that everyone can find their favourite one: day cafés, night partys and various themes. Holland House Café’s Dutch speciality are poffertjes, small fluffy pancakes served with buer and snow sugar. Poffertjes were a huge success in the Sweden Jamboree last year and the Dutch were asked to bring them here, too. Holland House has theme nights, pub quiz and ka- raoke on Thursday and Queen’s Day party on Friday. The impressive café tent was built by the German Black Cas- tle team. EUth House is a part of the Rover Momentum Valley. It’s possible to have a free cup of coffee or tea there during the acvies. Adventurers’ Café is a calm café serving breakfast, lunch and snacks. There are various board games to play. Rainbow Café’s speciality are cakes. Rainbow Café wants to raise discussions about human rights and LGBT (Lesbi- an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) people’s posion in the Scoung and Guiding movement. Every night there is a different movie and a debate. It’s also possible to leave dang announcements on the café’s walls. Hungry Hearts is a night café and disco that provides food and snacks from evening to the small hours. On Tuesday there were Finnish bands playing and on Wednesday there was a silent disco where everybody was dancing with headphones on. On Thursday and on Friday there will be DJs entertaining the Rovers and Rangers. On the road leading to the café there are over one hundred blue hearts showing the way. Follow your heart! Beauty of the heart can not be stolen. Name some new things you have learnt in the acvity valleys. Silent disco was a new experi- ence.
