1 What’s New in Jedox Suite Version 5.0

This document gives an overview of the new features, enhancements and fixes in Jedox Suite 5.0 Premium Edition. Jedox Suite 5.0 is available for download at http://www.jedox.com. In chapter 2 can be found detailed information about what’s new in the previous version 4.0. Detailed information about older Jedox Suite 3.x can be found in the What’s new documents for that version in archive downloads.

1.1 Jedox Base

With Jedox 5.0 now available, Jedox AG is stepping up its commitment to provide an open and cost-effective BI and performance management platform. In contrast to previous versions, from Version 5.0 on, both the fee-based Premium version and the Free version will feature the latest release of Jedox OLAP Server. Furthermore, Jedox will make the source code of the latest OLAP Server release available as an Open Source license on SourceForge. Up to now, only the previous OLAP Server release (15 to 18 months old) was available. In addition to the latest OLAP Server release, the free version of Jedox will now also feature a free Excel client. This one-two punch of Jedox OLAP server and free Excel client will enable business users to implement powerful, centralized BI and self-service performance management solutions across the enterprise—free of charge and without any restrictions regarding the data model size or number of registered users. In addition to the powerful Free version, from Release 5.0 on, Jedox will also offer a Premium version of Jedox. This release will enhance the enterprise capability of the free version in numerous key ways. Features will include Web capability, improved Excel functionality, mobile device support, ETL functions (importing/exporting from third-party systems), SAP data integration, superior user access control, and GPU co-processing. Jedox will offer comprehensive training, support, and consulting for the Premium version only.

1.2 Jedox Web

1.2.1 SUCCESS Charts

Version 5.0 introduces support for so called SUCCESS charts. There are 5 different version of charts natively supported: Waterfall, Bubble, Line, Deviant Column and Grouped Bar chart. These are available both in Jedox Web and in Jedox for Excel. You can exchange charts defined and generated in Jedox for Web with those made in Jedox for Excel. For details on Jedox for Excel implementation please see 1.3.1. More information about SUCCESS rules can be found at www.hichert.com.

1.2.2 Dynamic Charts

Version 5.0 of Jedox for Web also introduces support for dynamic charts. These are modern JavaScript and HTML5 powered animated charts.

These charts are client only at the moment – it is not possible to print them. Additional types and further improvements will follow in future versions.

Page 9: Whats New in Jedox

-9-

1.2.3 Chart toolbar button

The chart toolbar button supports all 4 chart types:

1.2.4 Improvements of standard charts

1.2.4.1 Clickable charts

Standard charts were enhanced to support hyperlink functionality. As of version 5.0 it is possible to use chart objects to transfer Value, Percentage, Series or Category label when clicking into the area of a chart. Use Hyperlink dialog to define these.

Page 10: Whats New in Jedox

-10-

1.2.4.2 Chart title as cell reference

As of 5.0, you can use a cell reference or formula as chart title (not only static string as before).

1.2.5 Find and Replace

Version 5.0 introduces support for Find and Replace. Similar as in Microsoft Excel it is possible to search for content of formula within Sheet or entire Workbook. You can even search and replace cell format.

1.2.6 Line breaks in cells

Feature implemented in 5.0: Line breaks when entering cell content. Shortcut is ALT + Enter (except IE: CTRL + Enter).

1.2.7 Swap Axis of a “Paste View”

A new button in the Paste View Dialog or the context menu can now be used to swap the Column titles to Row titles and vice versa (already was in Jedox for Excel version 4.0).

Page 11: Whats New in Jedox

-11-

1.2.8 Auto-fitting of height for cells with text wrapping turned on

It is now possible to auto fit row height of rows within DynaRange. Prior to this version it was only possible to do this for column width.

1.2.9 Export/Import spreadsheets containing microcharts

Exporting Jedox Web spreadsheet prior to version 5.0 would export microcharts as images. Excel 2010 introduced native support for sparklines. It is now possible to exchange definition of microcharts in Jedox Web with sparklines of Excel 2010 or newer.

Page 12: Whats New in Jedox

-12-

1.2.10 Update for touch interface

In Jedox Web 5.0 we updated touch interface (now using Sencha Touch 2.0). This brings better support for iOS6.

1.2.11 Clearing DB Cubes

As of 5.0, you can clear DB cubes in OLAP Manager in Jedox Web, same way as in Excel Modeller.

1.2.12 Log of SVS is also displayed in Jedox Web Log Viewer

As of 5.0, the log of SVS now can be viewed in Jedox Web Log Viewer as well.

Page 13: Whats New in Jedox

-13-

1.2.13 Hyperlink enhancements

Hyperlink functionality has been enhanced in 5.0 to support more options in regard to opening workbooks in separate Windows, positioning, layout, etc.

1.2.14 Support for displaying alias values in Combobox

As of 5.0 it is possible to control usage of alias in combobox.

1.2.15 Support for OLAP Snapshot

As of 5.0 it is possible to make XLSX export of a workbook and replace only Jedox spreadsheet formulas with their values. Other spreadsheet formulas will be preserved.

Page 14: Whats New in Jedox

-14-

1.2.16 New Spreadsheet Functions

Jedox Spreadsheet 5.0 includes new functions as follow:

1.2.16.1 DATEVALUE()

The DATEVALUE function converts a date that is stored as text to a serial number that is recognized as a date.

1.2.16.2 EDATE()

Returns the serial number that represents the date that is the indicated number of months before or after a specified date.

1.2.16.3 EOMONTH()

Returns the serial number for the last day of the month that is the indicated number of months before or after a specified date.

1.2.16.4 HOUR()

Returns the hour of a time value. The hour is given as an integer, ranging from 0 (12:00 A.M.) to 23 (11:00 P.M.).

1.2.16.5 MINUTE()

Returns the minutes of a time value. The minute is given as an integer, ranging from 0 to 59.

1.2.16.6 SECOND()

Returns the seconds of a time value. The second is given as an integer in the range 0 (zero) to 59.

1.2.16.7 TIMEVALUE()

Returns the decimal number of the time represented by a text string.

1.2.16.8 WEEKDAY()

Returns the day of the week corresponding to a date. The day is given as an integer, ranging from 1 (Sunday) to 7 (Saturday), by default.

Page 15: Whats New in Jedox

1.3 Jedox for Excel

1.3.1 SUCCESS Charts

As of 5.0 Jedox for Excel also features same SUCCESS charts module as Jedox Web. It is possible to share SUCCESS charts between these two frontends.

Page 16: Whats New in Jedox

-16-

1.3.2 Zero Suppression for multiple rows/columns

As of 5.0 it is possible to suppress zero values in a view which contains multiple dimensions on row or column axis. In this version this is done on the client side. For this we introduced two new spreadsheet functions - PALO.HIDECOLUMN and PALO.HIDEROW. Further optimizations are planned for future versions (including server side support for zero suppression).

1.3.3 Support for OLAP Snapshot

As of 5.0 Excel Add-in has the same functionality as Jedox Web (see Support for OLAP Snapshot), it is possible to make export of a workbook and replace only Jedox spreadsheet formulas with their values. Other spreadsheet formulas will be preserved.

Page 17: Whats New in Jedox

-17-

1.3.4 Office Add-in – PowerPoint and Word

In addition to existing Excel support, version 5.0 brings also support for Word and PowerPoint (Office 2007 or newer). It is now possible to reuse content defined as named formula in Excel in your Word document or PowerPoint presentation. Once you created and saved your Excel spreadsheet with all necessary data, e.g. Paste View with data from Jedox OLAP and chart based on that data, you can reference this spreadsheet in Word or PowerPoint document. From Jedox Ribbon element just select source Excel spreadsheet. Jedox Office Add-In will scan for available named formulas and display them. You can pick one or many of those and place them into office document. Placeholder will be created. You can then position it and set correct size. Once this is done you can hit refresh data and current data will be fetched from the source Excel file.

1.4 Jedox OLAP

1.4.1 Improved caching

Improved calculation and cache filling in 5.0. Prior to this change, it could happen that certain aggregations produce several cache misses leading to repeated recalculation.

1.4.2 Bulk activation/deactivation of rules

The API has been extended to support fast bulk activation/deactivation of rules. This is also supported in ETL server.

1.4.3 Support for “impersonation”

Version 5.0 of OLAP adds support for “impersonation” in API, i.e. user with enough privileges (at least “W” on “system operations” right object) can execute actions as some other user. This functionality is added for internal purposes and not designed for usage in Jedox clients.

1.4.4 SVS - authentication fallbacks for admin and _internal_suite

When SVS used in “workerlogin authentication” mode passwords come from a third party system. As of 5.0, users "admin" and "_internal_suite" are treated differently. If SVS authentication fails in third party system for these users, OLAP server will then try to authenticate against its own System database, checking the provided password against the password defined there. This renders special handling in script unnecessary.

Page 19: Whats New in Jedox

-19-

1.5 Jedox ETL

1.5.1 Performance Optimization

1.5.1.1 Performance Optimization in Relational Load

The Relational Load uses now Batch Inserts for writing of data. With this insert statements are grouped to limit round trips to the database.

1.5.1.2 Performance Optimization in Cube Load

During the CubeLoad a separate thread is used to send a cell-block to the OLAP Server. So, during the processing of the data in the OLAP Server, ETL Server can already extract and transform the data for the next cell block. This leads especially to a performance optimization when a significant portion of the processing time is required in ETL Server or in the Source System.

1.5.1.3 Increased performance of Drillthrough

The Performance for Drillthrough requests on highly consolidated cells has been increased. Therefore the SVS Script has to be updated. Additionally, the Relational Extract may have a Field Structure with a column mapping, but it must not contain default values for the columns. Especially in case of complex SQL-statements the assignment of a Field Structure (with or without column mapping) increases the Drill through request performance.

1.5.2 New Tree Format PCWAT

There is a new Tree Format for tree based data sources PCWAT. It extends for parent child relations the format PCWA with a column indicating the node type (Numeric, String or Consolidated)

1.5.3 Generate Project Documentation

As of 5.0 it is possible to create project documentation for any ETL project. It contains the alphabetical list of all components with type, descriptions and references. The graphical flow graph of a user specified list of jobs of this project can be included in the documentation. It's possible to navigate inside of the project documentation to referencing components.

1.5.4 New Function Date Duration

With this function you can do two kinds of data calculation inside FieldTransform: calculate the number of hours, days or another time unit between two different input dates and calculate a new date by adding a given number of hours, days or another time unit to a given date.

1.5.5 Stored Procedures in Relational Extract

It is now possible to call a stored procedure to query data inside of a Relational Extract

1.5.6 File Extract with HTTPS

The extraction from URLs with HTTPS is supported in Connections of type File and XmlFile. The SSL-certificate will be automatically imported.

1.5.7 New connection type to a local H2 database engine

It is now possible to create connections of H2 to local H2 database engine.

Page 20: Whats New in Jedox

-20-

1.6 Setup Enhancements

1.6.1 Renamed Service Names

All the service names in Version 5.0 are now prefixed with “Jedox” instead of “Palo”, e.g. “JedoxSuiteMolapService”.

1.6.2 Out of the box Drillthrough on base cells

As of 5.0 setup includes new SVS scripts which enable “out of the box” Drillthrough functionality on any consolidated cell. Selecting “Enable Drillthrough” in Advanced Setup will install updated SVS script which fetches data from base cells for current selection. See “sep.inc.drill_through.php” for more details.

Note: "Olap Drillthrough" is performed with full access rights. So a user running drillthrough will see all base cell data, even for elements for which this user doesn't have access rights.

Page 21: Whats New in Jedox

-21-

1.6.3 Demo Content

Version 5.0 also brings updated version of demo applications labeled 5.0.5. This new option is only shown during Update installations. If this option is set, the Setup will add new versions of the Demo applications. It will completely remove the following contents: "Demo" database, "Biker" database, "Demo Spreadsheets" File group in Jedox Web and the "Demo Reports" report group in Jedox Web. Any changes made to this content will be lost during the update.

1.7 Technical Health

In 5.0 following target platforms have been added to the supported list:

MS Office 2013

Firefox 19

Java 7

Windows 8 (viable)

1.8 New UI Language – Portuguese (Brazil)

The Jedox 5 User Interface now supports Portuguese (Brazil) in Jedox Web.

2 What’s New in Jedox Suite Version 4

2.1 Jedox Suite User Interface

2.1.1 New UI – Jedox for Excel

Jedox 4 offers an enhanced user interface experience. The new UI has been optimized for end users to make it even easier to work with Jedox Suite. All icons and dialog boxes has been optimized. Active buttons have strong orange and blue colors.

2.1.2 New UI – Jedox Web

For those users who want to keep the existing 3.x Theme, select the Jedox 3.x layout theme in the options menu.

Page 24: Whats New in Jedox

2.2 Enterprise Security Features

2.2.1 Enhanced Single Sign on

The new Single Sign on to Jedox Suite is now complete. Manual setup steps have been minimized. In Jedox for Excel use Modeler and edit your server connection by selecting “Use Windows Authentication”.

Single Sign on functionality needs Jedox Supervision Server to work.

2.2.2 Encryption of all User data

With Jedox 4 all user related data is finally encrypted.

Page 26: Whats New in Jedox

-26-

2.2.3 Combined Log file viewer

The new Log file viewer is a combine viewer for all Jedox Suite log files. The new viewer is helpful to analyze all available log files in a time-based format. Filters can be set at any time. The log file viewer is part of the enhanced System Manager.

2.2.4 Switch Default User Rights to None

Jedox 4 supports switching the complete Jedox OLAP database to ‘No User rights’ for newly added users. Prior to Jedox 4 a new user was always granted “all” access (Cube, Dimensions, Elements, etc.), resulting in administrator’s needing to take extra care to correctly setup user rights for new users. As users may also get created by ETL or other automated processes, this feature is also useful to setup a database so default initial rights are set to “none” and that additional rights are granted to users from this default.

Page 27: Whats New in Jedox

-27-

2.2.5 Jedox Web Sandbox Standalone Setup

The new sandbox setup is now available as a client installation. The sandbox is a Firefox 10 browser installation which will work only with Jedox Web. During the installation the path and port of the Jedox Web Sandbox installation can be specified.

Once installed, the end user can only navigate to Jedox Web and use the application according to his/her user rights. As many organizations may have the slow Internet Explorer as their standard browser, this is a way to get a better browser experience for end users.

2.2.6 PDF Generation with Document Options and Password

The last version of Jedox Suite introduced Batch PDF generation. These generated PDF reports can be send out via email to a set of specified users. With version 4 these PDF documents can be secured via various properties.

A specific password and document restrictions like printing, content copying or commenting can be switch on for all documents of a Batch print or a single PDF.

Page 28: Whats New in Jedox

-28-

2.2.7 Usage and License Monitor

Jedox Web System Manager comes with to new “monitor” view the monitor activity for a current installation. With the Usage Monitor, administrators can view an overview of the current activity, and view currently-loggedin users and internal tasks with IP addresses, job id and description. Long running user tasks may be closed, or if a system needs to switch into maintenance mode, the currently-loggedin users may be logged off. The Usage Monitor also displays the utilization of available licenses. A new License Monitor helps to control and setup Jedox Suite licenses in a central place.

2.2.8 Reduce Memory consumption for large Models

Jedox 4 ETL has been optimized to handle the import and transformation processes of very large datasets. With version 4, the memory consumption of Dimension loads and complex Hierarchy handling has been improved. Also execution performance will benefit from the new handling.

In addition to Jedox OLAP structures and Formulas, DynaRanges now also support relational data sources. The properties dialog of a DynaRange has a new Radio Option Button “ODBC Query”. This opens a query editor for all relational connections defined in System Manager/Connections as ODBC connection. Select the connection and create a SQL Statement. After selecting the query the selection is transferred into an ODBCEXEC function. Additional columns of the query can be used in Spreadsheet columns of the DynaRange. The SQL Statement can also be access any Spreadsheet variable to create dynamic results. (See the Time Analysis report of the Bikers Best Demo)

2.3.4 Localization of non-Database Objects

The new Jedox Spreadsheet function LOCALIZE() can be used to translate strings on a report. Use the new localization editor to add/remove or rename localization keywords. Each key word can be translated into the supported languages of Jedox Web.

Based on the language selected in the Options dialog the translated string will be shown in the report. Keywords are stored in the context of a report.

2.3.5 Report Variable Mappings

Reports can contain various variables which can be used to setup Batch prints or dynamic Report Manager structures. For example: Create a report for each product in a Jedox OLAP dimension. With Jedox 4 it is possible to define how a mapping will be displayed in Report Manager. If the Expand checkbox is selected the variables will be expanded at run time. This is typically not needed if the variables are mapped for Batch printing purposes.

The variable mapping is no longer shown during design view. This makes it easier for end-users to open a mapped report.

Example: Product Analysis Folder and Report has variable mappings

2.5 Jedox OLAP

2.5.1 Faster start of OLAP Services

Jedox OLAP database are also stored on a hard disk for several reasons. Running very large OLAP cubes or multiple Cubes start up time of the OLAP Service may take some time. (The files on the Hard disk will be read and converted into the In-memory representation of Jedox OLAP. Jedox also supports a binary representation of the In-Memory data on disk. This allows much faster start-up time of the Jedox OLAP services.

2.5.2 Security for Attributes

With version 4.0 of Jedox OLAP, Users rights can be defined for attributes. (User (group) X can be disallowed to see attribute Y, attribute values, or, with the HideElements function, even the attribute itself.) User Rights are managed via Jedox OLAP System Cubes #_GROUP_DIMENSION_DATA_#_ <dimension> similar to normal rights.

2.5.3 No functional restriction for GPU-accelerated Data-Cubes anymore

GPU-accelerated cubes can now be used without restrictions. This means any functionality (e.g. rules, updates) can be used in GPU-cubes; all GPU-capable operations will be calculated by the GPU, while non-acceleratable operations will automatically be calculated by CPU. No conversion is necessary.

2.5.4 Enhanced Rules Support for GPU Cubes

More rule functions are now GPU-accelerated. Please refer to the Jedox OLAP GPU Whitepaper for more details.

2.5.4.1 Support multiplication and division with constants

Rules with a constant factor (or divisor) are now accelerated.

2.5.4.2 Support of B:Rules with different dimensionality in source and target

Rules which do not have the same number of specified dimensions on left (target) and right (source) side are now supported by Jedox OLAP Accelerator.

2.5.5 Enhanced Data filter for GPU Cubes

Data Filters (DFilters) are computed faster due to better multi-aggregation kernels on GPU. This speeds up queries like Top 10 etc.

2.5.6 Automatic Synchronization of GPU Cubes after structure Updates

The previously necessary re-conversion of GPU cubes for structural updates (adding/changing dimension elements etc.) is now obsolete. This speeds up the overall process as synchronization after an ETL load process is not necessary anymore.

2.6.1.3 Multiple Measure Selection

To select a second or third measure to be displayed on charts just select the new shown measure for 2-3 seconds. The selected measure is than shown on the chart. Use the X to disable the measure from the chart again.

2.6.1.4 Google Maps Integration

A really cool new feature is the Google maps integration for regional based dimensions. If a dimension contains any regional information (Element name, Attributes) which can be found with Google Maps and specified as MAP dimension in the Mobile Server the iPad App will offer a new Chart type called map.

The elements will be mapped as circles based on the volume of the selected measure.

Page 45: Whats New in Jedox

-45-

Use the Mobile Server Configurator to define the dimensions of Cubes containing regional information you want to map. The dimensions need to be specified with [dimension name].

2.6.1.5 Multi-Cube Dashboards

The dashboard builder allows End users of the mobile application to orchestrate and build their own views even for multiple Jedox OLAP cubes. Drill to functions to all used cubes is available. The layout of charts and other components on the dashboard can be pre setup if required.

An Administrator of the Jedox Mobile Server can also pre configure Dashboards and assign them to specific mobile user.

2.7 Jedox ETL

2.7.1 General enhancements

2.7.1.1 Stopping long running Tasks

The functionality of stopping long running tasked has been reworked. The second stop command now immediately stops the running task. In some cases stopping an execution may take a longer time (e.g. if a long request has been send to a source or target system). In this case the status “stopping” is displayed for the execution. By clicking the stop button a second time, the execution will get interrupted. .

2.7.1.2 Display of invalid components in Flow Graph

The flow graph functionality now checks if a component is invalid. A Message box will be shown to the user with the component which cannot be visualized due to any misconfiguration if the flow graph is opened for this component

For example, if the Flow graph is opened for a job and one or more components are not valid (not used directly), they will show as white boxes.

2.7.1.3 Flow graph supports Script Jobs and Functions

If in Script Jobs or Functions (Groovy/JavaScript) a reference is made to another ETL component, e.g. another Job is executed, this is automatically considered as referencing component in the Flow graph.

2.7.2 Framework enhancements

Several general enhancements have been made to the Framework. The internal database to store Drill-Through data, tree manipulations and other ETL related data has been switched to H2.

Page 48: Whats New in Jedox

-48-

The new H2 database has shown much lower memory consumption, especially for Dimension loads and provides higher performance for handling of trees with lot of attributes (e.g. in File Load of a Dimension Extract) The Java Virtual machine settings have been updated to support the latest versions.

2.7.3 Connection type XMLA for Lucanet and Jedox OLAP

The former preview version of the Jedox XMLA Lucanet connector has been released with Jedox 4. The XMLA Lucanet connection interface allows connections to the ODBO-XML/A provider of a Lucanet or Jedox OLAP database. This connection type can be very useful for calculations of aggregated values on a defined filter. Keep in mind that XMLA was not designed for massive data loads and extractions. Performance on XMLA may be slower than native connections to SQL databases.

2.7.4 Extract - CubeSlice

A slice of an OLAP Cube is determined by reading elements of the cube dimensions given by filters. The result is the Cartesian product of all dimension elements This is particularly useful for a rapid deletion of multiple cube cells, defined by the Cube Slice, in combination with a Load of type “Cube” in Mode “Delete”.

2.7.5 Extract – Metadata

This extract enables the extraction of all metadata of a Jedox OLAP database and other sources (see ETL Tasks samples for demos). The metadata extract can list/extract of all dimensions, cubes, databases of an OLAP connection, catalogues, schemas, tables, columns of a Relational connection and all files of a Directory connection.

2.7.6 Calendar generation

The ETL Calendar generation has been optimized for better support of weeks in Calendar and time dimensions.

2.7.7 Transform enhancements

Jedox 4 offers various new field and transform functions:

- OlapData: Simple access to single cube cell values during transformation - Split: Splits the input text into separate parts around a given separator - Previous: Returns a column value of one of the preceding rows. - LastNonEmpty: Empty column values are replaced by the last column value of preceding rows,

which was not empty - Field Transform: Function “Lookup” with multiple input columns

- “TableView”: New filter option “isEmpty” - TableTransform: New Aggregation functions “first” and “last” - New transform type “TreeView”: Filtering of Trees/Dimensions on element and attribute names - TreeFH, TreePC, TreeNC: Creation of additional element (for default values) under a parent

element

Page 49: Whats New in Jedox

-49-

2.7.8 Cube Load enhancements

Major enhancements have been done for ETL Cube Load to Jedox OLAP cubes. In multi user environments it is always useful to lock a Cube during load for any other operation such as modeling or writeback. The new function “lock Cube during load” locks a cube from begin accessed during the data load operation. Drill Through will become more and more important as datasets and data volumes grow. The possibility to drill through to the detailed data which was the input for the Cube data was a highly-requested feature. With Jedox 4 it is now possible to define any external source as the path for Drill through. Keep in mind that data transforms between source and cube may make the Drill Through data inconsistent and so not usable. To setup drill through functionality, Jedox Supervision Server is required. During the advanced setup option the new installation routine creates all necessary SVS scripts automatically.

If Supervision Server was used before, and Scripts are already available, the Drill Through options needs to be setup manually. Thru the new “CubeSlice extract” the deletion of specific areas in a cube has also been optimized.

2.7.9 ETL Tasks Samples

Jedox ETL ships with a set of Sample ETL Tasks. These tasks can also be parameterized and started from a report in ReportManager. For Jedox 4 these tasks have been updated to the newest features and enhanced. The Anonymize Tasks has been extended to a complete database. Use this task to make anonymous a complete database. The backup and restore tasks have been changed to a new file format with better handling of Cube attributes. The “File to OLAP Model” Task is a very cool sample to create and load a cube directly. The file needs to have column headers and (currently) one value column. For each column the task will be creating a dimension. Afterwards all data is loaded to a cube with the dimensions of each column.

2.8.1 Jedox 4 for Linux

In Jedox 4.0 the Linux package was completely re-done. All of the components were updated to their latest stable version. Mechanisms for starting and stopping the Jedox Suite on Linux have been changed. The scripts startserver.sh and stopserver.sh are still in place, and still work as expected; they start / stop all services (processes) of Jedox Suite.

However, internally these scripts now just call the new main script, which is called jedox-suite.sh (located directly in the installation directory).

2.8.2 Jedox 4 Requirements

Jedox Suite 4 has the following software requirements. All packages will be installed from the All in one Setup of Jedox 4. It is also possible to install these requirements upfront. This could save waiting time for the installation or makes sense if the Jedox 4 Server cannot download these packages during installation time.
