•Graphic design salaries vary by location, skill of the designer, experience level, portfolio of work, kind of design (advertising or non profit), and ability to get clients. •On average, entry-level designers can expect to earn $30k-$35k. Graduates with competence and worthy portfolios can expect to earn around $40k-$45k, with potential to earn closer to $75k with experience. If you become a Creative Director of a firm, you are more likely to earn $85k-$100k. •At an average, the salary per year varies between US$ 40000 to 45000. All of this depends on the graphic designer's skill, ability to produce top work each time in a short time frame, and whether or not the graphic designer can get his or her work to sell. Creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial. Graphic designers must be creative and able to communicate their ideas visually, verbally, and in writing. They also must have an eye for details. Designers show employers these traits by putting together a portfolio-a collection of examples of a person's best work. A good portfolio often is the deciding factor in getting a job. They must also know how to use a computer.
