What Makes A Good Slideshow Presentation: Do's & Don'ts
Do's
Keep the Slideshow Short and Sweet.
Have a clear relationshipbetween what is being said and
heard.
Use san-serif fonts like CenturyGothic or Ariel or any other fontthat's easier on the eye. Stay in a
font family.
Back up 2 feet and watch yourpresentation. See if it's big
enough and readable.
Go for a specific colourpalette and layout style and
stick with it.
Use backgrounds,which do not compete
with the message.
Go for images, which matchyour texts.
THE DON'TS
Use fonts that are visually complex and are smaller than 24points.
Underline words for emphasisas they are harder to read.
People think they arehyperlinks.
Fill up the screen with toomuch of information insentence or bullet form.
Use backgrounds that arevisually complex in nature.
