MULTINATIONAL PRO BONO PROJECT MNPB PROPOSAL
multinational pro bono projectmnpb proposal
The GPBN with 50+ members present in 30+ countries is prepared to create and support Multinational Pro Bono Projects (MNP) that are performed by different branches of a global corpo-ration in close cooperation with GPBN member organisations simultaneous-ly in several countries. These programs will have united goals and outputs even if local implementation can vary from country to country.
Such international programs can be ideal for multinational companies with HQs in various countries & continents that want to deploy an integrated pro bono program framework.
WHAT IS MNP?
#GlobalProBonoNetwork
A MNP is a great way to create a sense of belonging and a community
inside the corporations. It can create a sharing and learning environment in-
side the company.
The project can be integrated into a corporate leadership or talent
development scheme.
The company can help NGOs and nonprofit issues in a more effective
way.
The MNP is globally designed, lo-cally executed.
MNP is a window to the World. Employees can hear about local
and globalchallenges.
Uniformed quality standards, backed by the local know-how
and network of pro bono interme-diary organisations.
MNP provide new creative ways for communications around CSR, Em-ployee Branding, SDGs, employee
engagements, corporate volunteer-ing and pro bono.
MNP provides a single point of contact to our partners.
Corporations can integrate and ex-tend their global corporate respon-
sibility activities with a MNP.
BUSINESS BENEFITS FOR CORPORATIONS
The MNP will be coordi-nated by a Project Lead-er (PL) that is the main point of contact for the HQ of the corporation. The PL will make sure that in all agreed coun-tries there are reliable pro bono intermediar-
ies as Project Partners, the project implementa-
tion meets the expectations and all
deliverable are provided. In such pro-jects all results and impact are mul-tiplied and corporations are able to communicate the program locally and globally as well. The involved partners can exchange information at differ-ent milestones of the project thus roll out a well- defined and precisely de-signed program that can have its uni-fied branding and benefits.
OUR SERVICE
The MNP will be designed by the Project Leader in close cooperation with the Project Partners and in agreement with the Cor-porate Partner. The project design will depend on spe-cific expectations and re-quirements of the Corpo-rate Partner.
Despite the different fac-tors the Project has core el-ements.

PROGRAM KPIs
The Global Pro Bono Network supports civic engagement that brings meaningful and transformative change to communities. Organised by pro bono intermediaries, the Global Pro Bono Network exists to promote
knowledge sharing, mutual support and collaboration among pro bono in-termediaries from around the World. Through this increased capacity, Member Organizations are better equipped to drive the movement forward, creating greater global change through meaningful local and regional actions. Our Network is a catalyst for impact through the ca-pacity building of civil society organizations.
Network Members range from start-ups to mature organiza-tions working to promote, pro-vide and expand pro bono in
their countries and regions. This mixture accelerates the sharing of best practices and lessons learned. Realizing that pro bono engagements bring com-munities together, the Network fosters intercultural exchange and draws a new map for a model of civic engagement globally.
The Network was created in 2013 by founding partners the BMW Founda-
tion and Taproot Foundation who con-tinuously supporting the development of the Network. This growing Network is currently composed of 50+ member
organizations from over 30 countries and re-gions. It thrives under the guidance of the Global Council of Network.
PRO BONO INTERMEDIARIES
We believe that pro bono intermediaries are a cru-cial component in making pro bono successful and providing high-quality professional services to nonprofits. Pro bono intermediaries make this pur-poseful work more consistent and its effects more lasting by providing a wide breadth of support-ive services to both the providers and recipients of pro bono service — before, during and after the en-gagement.
Pro bono intermediaries are multipliers for spreading the power of pro bono across their countries and re-gions.
ACTIVITY AREAS OF THE NETWORKPro bono service providers, referred to as intermediar-ies, strengthen civil society by connecting NGOs and social change organizations with business professionals who do-nate their time and talent in pro bono service. Expertise in HR, marketing, law, finance, strategy and IT are difficult for often under- resourced social change organizations to ac-cess. The effect of this civic engagement brings meaningful and transformative change to communities. In-termediaries make this purposeful work more
consistent and its effects more lasting by providing a wide breadth of supportive services to both the provid-ers and recipients of pro bono service — before, during and after the engagement.
