Caused by a new type A influenza virus.

Causing global outbreak of illness among humans.

Vaccine for the new virus will likely become available in fall 2009.

People will need two different vaccines: Seasonal flu vaccine Novel H1N1 vaccine (when it is

available)

What to Do

Be alert to your personal symptoms.Contact your health provider. Stay home from work or school if you are sick.Stay away from people who are sick.Consult your local health department.
