What is different for Auto Trader’s Partner Club dealers?

A “mandatory warranty” cover is available with extremely competitive pricing (should you choose to include a warranty with every car sale).
Warranty Direct will market higher level/longer warranties to customers under their Warranty Direct brand. For each
month that a customer remains covered by Warranty Direct, and you remain an Auto Trader Partner Club dealer, a
commission of £5 will be paid back to you. This could provide you with an additional £60 income per customer*.
Warranty Direct will market continued warranty cover to customers under their Warranty Direct brand when an initial
warranty expires. Provided you remain an Auto Trader Partner Club dealer further commission of £5 for each month a
customer remains on cover will be paid back to you. This could mean a further £60 income from each customer for
every year they remain on cover*.

We provide an internet based on-line registration facility for electronic registration of warranties and this is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Our website will provide you with: 1. Customer Care Documents, detailing all of the terms and conditions of your guarantee to your customer; 2. Cover Level Document showing the level of cover being provided; 3. Customer Information Document to confirm the customer, vehicle and cover level details.
Claims are telephoned into our administration office by the repairer and in the majority of cases are authorised
immediately. Dealer Warranty Direct (DWD) authorise on the selling dealer’s behalf and reclaim monies from the
insurer. The selling dealer is not involved in the claim process (unless actually making the repairs) - DWD deal with
everything.
Dealer Warranty Direct provides an on-line payment service at the point of warranty registration and this is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Claims are normally paid within 10 working days of receipt of a repair invoice and cor-
rectly related documents.
