What is a Shutter?

�  The shutter of a camera is the curtain in front of your camera’s sensor that needs to move out of the way before the sensor can record a picture.

What is a Shutter?

�  The “shutter release” is the button that you press to take a picture. When pressed, the shutter raises out of the way, allowing light in to the camera’s sensor.
