What I Learned About Safety

• Only give out personal info to a website that you want to join

• Never give your info to someone you have never met in person

• Tell your parents or a trusted adult if someone asks you for personal info

• Someone can track you from personal info and you don’t want random knocking on the door

• Only go on appropriate web sites that your parents have approved

• If something pops up on your screen and wont go away turn off the monitor and tell an adult

• Only fill in mandatory information

• You don’t want to put your family in danger so don’t say anything that might be able to be tracked

• If you aren’t sure about an email pre-read it so that the sender doesn’t know that you got it

• If an email is inappropriate tell an adult and block the sender

• Only type what you would want to be seen

• Use passwords that wont be hard to hack

• Remember your passwords instead of writing them down

• Don’t tell your password
