Dan RyanIn his role as Principal at Ryan Search & Consulting, Dan provides

Retained Executive Search, Leadership Consulting and Recruitment

Outsourcing (RO) work for his clients. His career includes 14 years of

experience in Quality, Total Quality, Process Improvement and

Operations Management in the manufacturing world. Dan also spent 12

years as a senior-level HR leader prior to entering the Search &

Consulting world.

He has earned a M.Ed. from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, a

MBA from Tennessee State University, and a BS in Engineering Physics

from Murray State University. He is currently an adjunct faculty member

for Peabody College of Vanderbilt University and has also taught at

Belmont University.

Dan is the president-elect of ACE Mentor of Nashville and he is a board

member for the Middle Tennessee Workforce Advisory Board, and

Leadership Middle Tennessee. He is a former president of Franklin

Tomorrow and the Franklin Breakfast Rotary Club.

Michele ChristyMichele serves Ryan Search & Consulting as the Operations

Manager. After moving to Nashville from Indiana, Michele studied

Commercial Music and Music Business at Belmont University. Prior

to joining Ryan Search and Consulting, she served as a Retained

Executive Recruiter with The Human Capital Group, Inc., where

she managed a search team and developed their search process.

Dr. John (Jay) ConnerJay joins Ryan Search & Consulting as a Senior Consultant-Market

Segment Leader. Dr. Conner has experience in a number of

industries including higher education, healthcare, software

development, wholesale building supplies, food service, retail food

distribution, transportation and third party logistics. He began his

business career with Ryder System as Director of Training for

Truckstops of America. He has also worked with Ft. Lauderdale Sun

Sentinel, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, and Urology Healthcare

Group. Dr. Conner later served as a partner with Conner, Gering &

Associates, Management Consultants. The firm's clients included:

Aspect Communications, Inc., Hospital Corporation of America,

Kenny Pipe and Supply, Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc., Dell Computer

Corp., Quickway Transportation, The Heart Group, The Path Group,

Saver Group, Inc., Little Planet Learning. Pinnacle Financial

Partners and AmSouth Bank. He was awarded the B.A. Degree

from Georgetown College and the M.A. and PH.D. in

Communications from LSU. He holds the SPHR certification and a

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

Sarah Kennedy MunsellSarah Kennedy Munsell joined Ryan Search & Consulting in April, 2012

as a Consultant. She is responsible for identifying and researching

candidates that meets our client's needs. Prior to joining Ryan Search &

Consulting, she worked as a marketing director in Dave Ramsey's

organization. Sarah moved to Nashville from Texas to study at Belmont

University where she received a Bachelor of Music in classical voice

performance. She continued her studies at the University of Tennessee

and received a Master of Music.

Kaylyn BruehlKaylyn may be a new consultant with our firm, but she is no stranger to

working with Dan, having worked at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee

during Dan's tenure there. She and her husband, Reid, relocated to

Nashville from Kentucky more than 13 years ago. Before joining Ryan

Search & Consulting, Kaylyn held positions in marketing and financial

development with leading non-profits United Way of Southern

Kentucky and YMCA of Middle Tennessee. She enjoys spending time with

her husband and two sons, traveling, watching sporting events and

acting. She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University.

Graham ManningPrior to Ryan Search, Manning was a recreational therapist with Nashville-

based Cumberland Heights Treatment Center and administrative assistant for

head baseball coach Tim Corbin in the Vanderbilt University Athletic

Department. Most recently, Graham has been a key leader at lululemon

athletica in Franklin, TN.

She is a University of Georgia graduate with a B.S. in Sports Management. She

also has volunteered extensively with a number of mission trips to Haiti,

Ecuador, El Salvador and South Africa. She will direct her recruitment efforts in

all of the industries served by Ryan Search & Consulting.

Madeline GarvinPrior to joining the Ryan Search & Consulting team, Madeline worked for the

State of Tennessee as the executive assistant to First Lady Crissy Haslam. In

addition, she has experience with a health-related non-profit organization, a

large retailer, a small media services company, and a start-up venture. She is a

graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she studied Human and Organizational

Development and Corporate Strategy.

Madeline and her husband, Grayson, call Nashville home and live here part of

the year, but they also travel across the country during his baseball season. In

her free time, Madeline most enjoys being outdoors, learning to cook and sport

fishing.
