What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is?

This video seeks to discuss what we see in scripture regarding New Moon day. The subject is debated among many.

Can you prove from scripture alone when New Moon day is ?

There are times that we need to take a step back and look at the entire picture scripture provides us with. The Sabbath day is a great example of this.

When looking at the month in scripture we need a way to see its beginning from the ending. We need this so we know where the count for Sabbath day starts and ends.

If you start your count from the wrong place, the Sabbath day will not fall at the time appointed, but rather will fall at a time appointed by man. He warns us of doing these things.

Mark 7:8

8 You disregard and neglect the commandments of Yahuwah,

and [instead] cling to the tradition of men.

So in looking at the month in scripture, should we not stand back a little further and see what the scriptures actually show? Shouldn't we remove the traditions of man and look to do what the scriptures alone show us?

The month in scripture starts with New Moon day. The Month ends with the next New Moon day starting.

Isaiah 66:23

“And it shall be that from New Moon to New MoonAnd from Sabbath to Sabbath,

All mankind will come to bow down and worship before Me,” says Yahuwah.

So when is New Moon day? There is no single location in the scriptures which state explicitly when New Moon day is. So why would Yahuwah do this? Scripture says in Matthew 7:9-11

9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread,

will [instead] give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish,

will [instead] give him a snake?

11 If you then being evil (sinful) as you are, know how to give good and advantageous

gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven

give what is good and advantageous to those who keep on asking Him.

Yahuwah will give to those who ask. Pray on this topic.

Matthew 7:7-8

7 “Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds,

and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.

Scripture does indeed show us when New Moon day is. Many just do not see the Light. The following witness is more than just a single witness, for it occurs throughout the scriptures and is not confined to a single location.

But many do not see it. Step back. Look at the whole picture.

Page 3: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

The Light of the Moon is a reflected light. The Light of His word is a reflection of everything to do with the Father. The direct Light of the Father is so intense we who are in sin cannot hope to see it live.

We see though the reflection of His Son and of His scriptures in much the same manner as the Light of the sun is reflected in the moon.

Exodus 33:18,20

18 Then Moses said, "Please show me Your glory!"

20 But He [Yahuwah] said, "You cannot see My face,

for no man shall see Me and live!"

To see the Light of the Father we should be reflecting what the scriptures show us. If we are not reflecting that light, then we are not speaking according to His word. If we are not speaking according to His word there is no Light within us.

Isaiah 8:20

20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word,

it is because there is no light in them.

So let us look at what He says about Light.

Scripture tells us that His people have walked in darkness,

and that upon them a great light has shined.

Isaiah 9:2

“The people who walked in darkness,Have seen a great light;

Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow if death,

Upon them light has shined.”

Page 4: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

He tells us that our eyes provide the Light for our bodies. He tells us that our bodies are full of Light when our eyes are clear. He tells us that darkness represents when we are spiritually blind.

Luke 11:34-36

34 The eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is clear [focussed upon Yahuwah],

your whole body also is full of light. But when it is bad [spiritually blind],

your body also is full of darkness [devoid of Yahuwah's word].

35 Be careful, therefore, that the Light that is in you is not darkness.

36 So if your whole body is illuminated, with no dark part,

it will be entirely bright [with light], as when the lamp gives you light

with its bright rays.

He tells us that those who do His good works will shine before men.

Matthew 5:14-16

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand,

and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men,

that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

He tells us that His children are children of Light, and that His children do not belong to the darkness.

1 Thessalonians 5:4-5

4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day.

We are not of the night nor of darkness.

Page 5: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

He tells us that those who are righteous will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness like the stars. A star is a bright Light in a dark place.

Daniel 12:3

Those who are wise shall shineLike the brightness of the firmament,

And those who turn many to righteousnessLike the stars forever and ever.

He tells us that His word should be the lamp which we use to walk.

Psalm 119:105

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

He tells is that those who practice evil, do not like the light. He tells us that these people love darkness rather than His Light for it is His Light which exposes the truth.

John 3:19-21

19 This is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in Yahuwah.

We read about how Yahuwah is Light and how there is no darkness in Him at all. He tells us that if we say that we have fellowship with Him, but still walk in darkness, then we are fooling ourselves.

1 John 1:5-7

5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that Yahuwah is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say we have fellowship with him while

we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of

Yahushua his Son cleanses us from all sin.

We learn that if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles because the light is not in him.

John 11:10

10 But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles,

because the light is not in him.

Page 6: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

We learn that those who follow Yahushua, have light within them.

John 8:12

12 When Yahushua spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world.

Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

We learn that those who walk in darkness, do not know where they are going.

John 12:35

35 Then Yahushua told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever

walks in the dark does not know where they are going."

We learn that people will place light where there is darkness, and place darkness where there is light.

Isaiah 5:20

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light,

and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet,

and sweet for bitter!

What is it that He is trying to teach us? Why does scripture speak so much about Light and darkness? I would pray that each person would agree that, His word is His Light. He provides His Light that we might see.

We must not think, "Well, we have all the truth, we understand the main pillars of our faith, and we may rest on this knowledge." The truth is an advancing truth, and we must walk in the increasing light.

New light will ever be revealed on the word of Yahuwah to him who is in living connection with the Sun of Righteousness. Let no one come to the conclusion that there is no more truth to be revealed.

The diligent, prayerful seeker for truth will find precious rays of light yet to shine forth from the word....

Many gems are yet scattered that are to be gathered together to become the property of the remnant people...

"A spirit of pharisaism has been coming in upon the people who claim to believe the truth for these last days. They are self-satisfied. They have said, "We have the truth. There is no more light for the people of Yahuwah."

"But we are not safe when we take a position that we will not accept anything else than that upon which we have settled as truth.

Page 7: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

We should take the Bible, and investigate it closely for ourselves. We should dig in the mine of Yahuwah's word for truth. "Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart."

Yahushua used many parables within His teachings, so that the wise might see and understand. Yahushua came that we may see the Light of the Father reflected in Him.

In the same way we see the Light of the sun reflected in the moon. That Light was the most intense upon His crucifiction, showing the full Love of the Father. For He does not want any to walk in darkness, as He came to save us from it.

John 12:42-50

42 Nevertheless, even many of the leading men believed in Him,

but because of the Pharisees they would not confess it, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue;

43 for they loved the approval of men more than the approval of Yahuwah.

44 But Yahushua loudly declared, “The one who believes and trusts in Me does not believe only in Me

but [also believes] in Him who sent Me. 45 And whoever sees Me sees the One who sent Me.

46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him;

for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My word, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day

(for His word is Light).

49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I

should speak. 50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just

as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”

So when is new Moon day then and how does this Light (His word) show us when it is? IfHis Word is His Light, and the moon sets His appointed times, as we are told in Psalms 104:19, then shouldn't we see this reflected in His word?

Shouldn't we see when His appointed times were from New Moon to New Moon and Sabbath to Sabbath?

The whole point of showing these scriptures was to show you that His word is His Light and His word reflects what we need to understand.

Let's take a look at what we see in the scriptures. Where is this Light shone?

New Moon day

In Exodus we find Aaron and his sons being inducted into the priesthood beginning upon New Moon day.

Exodus 40:2,12

1 Then Yahuwah spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “On the first day (New Moon day) of the first month (Abib) you shall set up the

tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.

In this scripture, New Moon day has Light upon it, for we see it in His word.

In Joshua and in Jasher, we read of the story of Jericho, and how the walls came down. In Jasher we learn that this event started upon the first day of the month.

Jasher 88:14

And it was in the second month, on the first day of the month (New Moon day), that Yahuwah said to Joshua,

"Rise up, behold I have given Jericho into thy hand with all the people thereof;

and all your fighting men shall go round the city, once each day,

thus shall you do for six days."

In this scripture, New Moon day has light upon it for we see it in His word.

In 1 Samuel 20 we read about David who was hiding himself from Saul as he understood Saul was seeking his life.

1 Samuel 20:5,18

5 David said to Jonathan, “Behold, tomorrow is the New Moon, and I should sit at the table to eat with the king; but let me go, so that I may hide myself in the field until the third evening.

18 Then Jonathan said to David, “Tomorrow is the New Moon, and you will be missed because your seat will be

empty.

In this scripture, New Moon day has Light upon it for we see it in His word.

Th SabbathsNext we need to look at the Light shone upon His Sabbaths in His word.

In Leviticus 8, we find that Aaron and His sons had to stay in the Tent of the meeting until the days of their ordination had ended.

Leviticus 8:33-35

33 You shall not go outside the doorway of the Tent of Meeting for seven days, until the days of your consecration (ordination) are ended;

for it will take seven days to consecrate you.

34 As has been done this day, so Yahuwah has commanded to do for your atonement.

35 You shall remain day and night for seven days at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting,

doing what Yahuwah has required you to do, so that you will not die;

for so I (Moses) have been commanded.

Leviticus 9 tells us that upon the eighth day they held a holy convocation.

Leviticus 9:23-24

23 Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came out they blessed the people,

and the glory and brilliance of Yahuwah appeared to all the people [as promised].

24 Then fire came out from before Yahuwah and consumed the burnt offering and the portions

of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it,

they shouted and fell face downward.

Exodus 40:1-2,12

1 Yahuwah spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “On the first day of the first month you shall set up the location for the appointed

times.12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the location for the

appointed times and wash them with water.

Leviticus 23:5-7

5 Yahuwah’s Passover is on the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight. 6 The Feast of Unleavened Bread unto Yahuwah is on the fifteenth day of the same

month; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day [the fifteenth] you shall have

a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work [on that day].

Scripture tells us that a Sabbath day is a Holy Convocation.

Leviticus 23:3

3 ‘For six days work may be done, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of complete rest,

a holy convocation. You shall not do any work [on that day];

it is the Sabbath of Yahuwah wherever you may be.

In these scriptures the Sabbaths upon the 8th and 15th had Light upon them, for we see them in His word.

Page 13: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

In 2nd Chronicles 7 we read when Solomon had his appointed times with Yahuwah.

2 Chronicles 7:8-10

8 At that time Solomon observed the feast for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very large assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt.

9 On the eighth day they held a celebration, for they had observed the dedication of the altar for seven days, and the feast for seven days. 10 And on the twenty-third day of the seventh month Solomon sent the people to their tents, rejoicing and happy in heart because of the goodness that Yahuwah had shown to David, to

Solomon, and to His people Israel.

This is repeated in Leviticus 23

Leviticus 23:39

39 on exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall celebrate the appointed times of Yahuwah for seven days,

with a Sabbath rest on the first day and a Sabbath rest upon the eighth day.

The Sabbath days upon the 8th and 15th and 22nd all had Light upon them, for we see them in His word.

Through Exodus 12, Deuteronomy 5, Deuteronomy 16 and Numbers 33, we learn that the15th day of the first month was a Sabbath day as well.

Exodus 12:1-3

1 Yahuwah said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, 2 “This month shall be the beginning of months to you; it is to be the first month of the year to you.”

3 Tell all the congregation of Israel, ‘On the tenth [day] of this month they are to take a lamb or young goat for themselves, according to [the size of] the household of

which he is the father, a lamb or young goat for each household.

Exodus 12:6-7

6 You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to slaughter it at twilight.

7 Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel [above the door] of the houses in which they eat it.

Exodus 12:12

12 For I [Yahuwah] will pass through the land of Egypt on this night, and will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and animal;

against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments. I am Yahuwah.

Israel was delivered from Egypt upon the fifteenth day at night.

Numbers 33

3 They set out from Rameses on the fifteenth day of the first month;

on the day after the Passover the Israelites moved out triumphantly in the sight of all the Egyptians.

Deuteronomy 16:1

1 “Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover to Yahuwah your Elohim, for in the month of Abib

Yahuwah your Elohim brought you out of Egypt by night.

Page 18: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

But why did they come out of Egypt by night? The fifteenth day was the Sabbath, as shown to us in Deuteronomy 5:12-15 where Yahuwah repeats the ten commandments.

We are told straight after the fourth commandment, the Sabbath commandment, that this was when they exited Egypt.

Deuteronomy 5:12-15

12 ‘Observe the Sabbath day to keep it holy, as Yahuwah your Elohim commanded you.

13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 14 but the seventh day is a Sabbath unto

Yahuwah your Elohim ….

15 And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt,

and that Yahuwah your Elohim brought you out of there with a mighty hand

and by an outstretched arm; thus Yahuwah your Elohim

commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.

The Sabbath day upon the 15th had Light upon it, for we see it in His word.

Page 19: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

Leviticus 23:6-7 tells us that the 15th day of first month is a Sabbath day as well. This was also the first day of the Feast of Unleavened bread.

Leviticus 23:6-7

6 The Feast of Unleavened Bread to Yahuwah is on the fifteenth day of the same month;

for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation;

you shall not do any laborious work [on that day].

The Sabbath day is a holy convocation as Leviticus 23:3 tells us.

3 ‘For six days work may be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest,

a holy convocation. You shall not do any work [on that day];

it is the Sabbath of Yahuwah wherever you may be.

The Sabbath day upon the 15th had Light upon it, for we see it in His word. In fact the Sabbath upon the 15th has the most Light shone upon it out of any of the Sabbath days in scripture.

This is reflected not only in His word, but also in the Light shone upon the moon for His word is His Light.

Page 20: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

Yahushua was crucified upon the 14th day of the first month called Abib.

This was the same evening that the passover lamb was to be sacrificed. Yahushua was the last Passover lamb, giving His sinless life that we may live. Pilate sent Yahushua to be crucified upon the preparation day of this Sabbath, - known as the passover.

John 19:14-15

14 Now it was the day of Preparation of the Passover, it was about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, “Look, your King!”

15 But they shouted, “Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!”

Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered,

“We have no king but Caesar!”

John 19:17-18

17 So they took Yahushua, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of the Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha.

18 There they crucified Him, and with Him two others, one on either side, and Yahushua between them.

The next day, the 15th, was to be the Sabbath.

Mark 15:42-43

42 When evening had already come, because it was the preparation day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,

43 Joseph of Arimathea came, a prominent and respected member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of Yahuwah, courageously dared to go in

before Pilate, and asked for the body of Yahushua.

John 19:31

31 Since it was the day of Preparation, in order to prevent the bodies from hanging on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high holy day)

the Jews asked Pilate to have their legs broken [to hasten death] and the bodies taken away.

The next day, the sixteenth day after the new Moon,

was to be the first day of the week.

Matthew 28:1, 5-6

1 Now after the Sabbath, near dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary

went to look at the tomb.

Page 21: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

Matthew 28:1, 5-6

5 But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Yahushua who has been

crucified. 6 He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come! See the place where He

was lay."

Mark 16:1-2, 5-6

1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James, and Salome purchased [sweet-smelling] spices,

so that they might go and anoint Him. 2 Very early on the first day of the week,

they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

5 Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right, wearing a [long, stately] white robe;

and they were amazed and bewildered. 6 And he said to them,

“Do not be amazed; you are looking for Yahushua the Nazarene,

who was crucified. He has risen; He is not here.

See, [here is] the place where they laid Him."

The first day of this week the 16th, is known as first fruits. It was the day that Yahushua arose.

1 Corinthians 15:20-23

20 But now Yahushua has in fact been raised from the dead, [and He became] the first fruits [that is, the first to be resurrected with an incorruptible, immortal body,

foreshadowing the resurrection] of those who have fallen asleep [in death].

21 For since [it was] by a man that death came [into the world], it is also by a Man that the resurrection

of the dead has come. 22 For just as in Adam all die,

so also in Yahushua all will be made alive. 23 But each in his own order:

Yahushua the first fruits, then those who are Yahushua’s at His coming.

Page 22: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

Leviticus 23:9-11 ties the day of first fruits to a single spot which cannot be moved.

Leviticus 23:9-11

9 Then Yahuwah spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I

am giving you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest.

11 He shall wave the sheaf before Yahuwah so that you may be accepted; the priest shall wave it

on the day after the Sabbath.

Passover is upon the 14th. The Sabbath is upon the 15th. First fruits is upon the 16th, which is the day first fruits.

This Sabbath day, the 15th day of the first month, also called a High day in scripture, has the most Light shone upon it out of any of the Sabbaths for we see it in His word.

In John chapters 7 through 9 we learn that the 22nd day was a Sabbath as well. Here, Yahushua visits the temple upon the last day of the Feast of Booths.

John 7:2,37

2 Now the Jewish Feast of Booths was approaching.

37 Now on the last and most important day of the Feast, Yahushua stood and called out,

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink!"

At the close of the Feast, Yahushua went to the Mount of Olives.

John 8:1

But Yahushua went to the Mount of Olives.

The next day Yahushua went back to the temple to teach. This was upon the 22nd day of the month. He taught them for a while before he concealed Himself and left the temple.

John 8:2,59

2 Early in the morning He came back into the temple and all the people were coming to Him.

He sat down and began teaching them.

...

59 So they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Yahushua concealed Himself and left the temple.

After He had exited the temple, He passed a man who had been blind from birth. We learn here, that this day, the 22nd, was the Sabbath day.

John 9:1, 14

1 While He was passing by, He noticed a man [who had been] blind from birth.

14 Now it was on a Sabbath day that Yahushua made the mud and opened the man’s eyes.

Here the Sabbath of the 22nd had Light upon it for we see it in His word.

In fact it was this Sabbath that Yahushua spoke of Light and how that Light was coming to a close the same way it does in His months.

John 9:4-5

4 We must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day (while we have the Light);

night is coming when no one can work (for there is no Light).

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world

[giving guidance through My word and works].

John 8:12-13

12 Once more Yahushua addressed the crowd. He said,

“I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

13 Then the Pharisees told Him, “You are testifying on Your own behalf;

Your testimony is not valid.”

John 8:17-18

17 Even in your own law it is written that the testimony of two persons is true [valid and admissible].

18 I am One [of the Two] who testifies about Myself, and My Father who sent Me testifies about Me.”

When we see His light, we see it reflected, for none can see the Father directly. When we see His light reflected, we see His light in Yahushua. We see His light in His word.

Likewise we cannot look at the sun directly. It is too bright to look at. We can see the Light of the sun reflected in the moon.

We see that Light in His word. We see the Testimony of Yahuwah and Yahushua. We see the Light upon New Moon day.

We see the Light upon the first Sabbath. We see the Light upon the second Sabbath.

We see the Light upon the third Sabbath.

There is never any Light shone directly upon the fourth Sabbath in scripture. And that is where the beauty is. For the Light is hidden upon that Sabbath. It is not seen directly. It is hidden.

But interestingly the fourth Sabbath of every month, which we see with no Light upon it actually has the most light on it from where we cannot see.

If you can see the truth in this, you shall also be aware of the tremendous light He is shining. It is just hidden from those who shall not see.

Mark 4:22-23

22 For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been kept secret, but that it would come to light

[that is, things are hidden only temporarily, until the appropriate time comes for them to be known].

23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.”

He takes the time to explain to us that even when there is darkness, with understanding, comes light.

John 1:5

5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend it.

It was those who were His people who had Light. Those outside were in darkness.

Exodus 10:21-23

21 Then Yahuwah said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt.”

22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in

all the land of Egypt three days. 23 They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days.

But all the children of Israel all had light in their dwellings.

Israel represents the people of Yahuwah. There will be Light where there is none. Sadly, many shall not see this Light. Will you be one of the few?

Ephesians 5:8-148 For you were once in darkness,

but now you are in Light in Yahuwah. Walk as children of light

9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth, 10 finding out what is acceptable to Yahuwah.

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Ephesians 5:8-1412 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret

(in darkness). 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the Light,

for whatever makes manifest is Light.14 Therefore He says:

“Awake, you who sleep,Arise from the dead,

And Yahushua will give you Light.”

He tells us in Genesis 1:14 what it is we should be using for His appointed times. He never tells us to use the darkness. He tells us to use His Light.

Genesis 1:14

And Elohim said, Let there be LIGHTS in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night;

and let them be for signs, and for APPOINTED TIMES,

and for the days, and for the years.

Let us not use darkness to tell His appointed times, but let us use the Light He has provided us with. For there will be those who switch Light for darkness, which is not His way.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them

that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and

sweet for bitter!

Let us use the word He gave us to be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

Psalms 119:105

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

If rational beings really desire the truth, Yahuwah will give them sufficient light to enable them to decide what is truth. If they have a heart to obey, they will see sufficient evidence to walk in the light. But if they in heart desire to evade the truth, he will not work a miracle to gratify their unbelief. He will never remove every chance or occasion to doubt.

If they honestly, sincerely grasp the light, and walk in it, that light will increase until lingering doubts will be dispelled. But if they choose darkness, their questioning and caviling over the truth will increase, their unbelief will be strengthened, and the light which they would not accept will become to them darkness, and how great will be that darkness!

It will be as much greater than before the light came, as the light which was rejected was clearer and more abundant than the light which first shone upon them. Thus it was with the Jewish nation; thus it will be with the Christian world in every generation. The rejectors of light treasure up to themselves wrath against the day of wrath.

There are those who walk amid perpetual doubts. They feed on doubts, enjoy doubts, talk doubts, and question everything that it is for their interest to believe. To those who thus trifle with the plain testimonies of Yahuwah's word, and who refuse to believe because it is inconvenient and unpopular to do so, the light will finally become darkness; truth will appear to the darkened understanding as error, and error will be accepted as truth.

When thus shrouded in error, they will find it perfectly natural and convenient to believe what is false, and will become strong in their faith.

Those who walk in the light will progress; they will grow up to the full stature of men and women in Yahushuah HaMaschiach.

This is the result of sanctification through the truth, and this is what Yahuwah requires of all. Truth is progressive; and those who are preparing for the last great day will go forward in accordance with the accumulated light which shines upon them from the prophecies and from the lessons of Yahushua and the apostles.

No one will be condemned in the day of Judgment because of a lack of knowledge which he never had an opportunity to obtain. The light which never shone upon him will never be his darkness. The truth which Yahuwah's messengers have presented by pen and by voice, the treasures of the word of Yahuwah which they have opened to the people, the light which has penetrated the darkened chambers of the mind, will, if rejected, be witnesses against them in the last great day.

The testimony which will come with condemning power upon the sinner, and which will close his mouth before Yahuwah and testify of his guilt, is the fact that he saw the light, but for various reasons in harmony with the carnal heart, would not receive it. He would not receive the truth that was given to save him.

The greater the light, the greater the obligations.

If Yahuwah has sent a message to the world, giving us light in regard to the true Sabbath, and showing us that the great Lawgiver is coming to judge the world in righteousness, those who refuse to accept the message and continue to cling to their errors and to their darkness and unbelief, will, like the inhabitants of the Noachian world, be punished with everlasting destruction.

Page 28: What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? · What do the scriptures teach about when New Moon day is? ... He who will study the Bible with a humble heart and a teachable

Yahuwah sent them a message of truth, but they would not believe; nevertheless it was the truth, and their unbelief did not hinder the event.

The judgments of Yahuwah came just the same as Noah had predicted they would come.

Yahuwah has sent a message of warning to our world just prior to his coming the second time without sin unto salvation.

Great light has been permitted to shine from the prophecies, and from the lessons of Yahushua and the apostles, but the majority refuse to walk in the light just as they did in Noah's day. If they were blind they would have no sin, but the light has been flashed into their pathway; precious truths from the word of Yahuwah have been presented; but they have chosen darkness rather than light.

Matthew 24:37-39

37 For the coming of the Son of Man (the Messiah) will be just like the days of Noah. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying

and giving in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all

away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Proverbs 30:5-6

Every word of Yahuwah is tested and refined

[like silver];He is a shield to those

who trust and take refuge in Him.

Upon the 23rd of September 2017 there is a sign in the sky. That sign, seems to match the sign spoken of in Revelation 12.

This sign is upon the first day of the scriptural week of the seventh month, the day after new Moon day.It is calculated this way when using His Light. For those using the gregorian calendar and having their Sabbaths upon Saturday that day will be their Sabbath.

Yahushua warns about this:

20 Pray that your flight will not be in winter, or on a Sabbath [when Jewish laws prohibit travel]. 21 For at that time there will be a

great tribulation (pressure, distress, oppression), such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will

[again].
