I hope you enjoy looking through our 2009-10 James Madison University women’s golf team recruiting guide. It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to be the head women’s golf coach at such an outstanding and progressive university.

Our team has completed its second season with the addition of golf scholarships. Our young players have assisted the team to a very successful beginning of what I know, will be a terrific program. The present team members are looking forward to the 2009-2010 season. I am also excited to be hosting our second James Madison University college golf invitational at Eagle Landing Golf Club in Jacksonville, Fla.

Every year my goals are to play a top Division I schedule, win our conference championship and participate in the NCAA Championship. I am confident that our

program will be ranked alongside the top college golf programs in the very near future.

The student-athlete at James Madison University is offered a highly competitive academic program, an exciting living environment and a support staff that will help our athletes be successful both on and off the course. Our strength and conditioning coaches hold mandatory workouts that are geared toward golf-related performance. Our academic advising center provides tutors, labs and study areas that the athletes can take advantage of to assure success academically. Our sports medicine facility is staffed with qualified professionals who are trained to deal with any injuries or illnesses that our student-athletes may encounter. Our players are also granted playing privileges and memberships seven days a week at our local golf clubs. Along with our outside facilities, we have an indoor practice area including a putting surface, two hitting stalls and top quality video equipment to analyze your game. Being a PGA golf professional, I believe that my expertise in teaching and playing competitively will help my team achieve both individual as well as team goals.
