WESTSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH JULY 2014 NEWSLETTER June Unified Giving: $16,625.51 Required Unified Giving: $16,826 Ecuador: $5,150 n July 25th our team of 10 'goers' will be departing from Toronto and traveling to Quito, Ecuador on the way to the jungle village of Shandia. While the team is in Shandia we will be engaging the community in a number of different ways - helping to train local church leaders, running kids and youth programs and doing construction. Perhaps, most importantly, as we do each of these things, we will be continuing to build relationships with the missionaries and people of the village. Leading up to the actual trip, final preparations for each aspect of our ministry will need to be concluded as well as all of the last minute travel details. While there are a lot of tasks to be completed we would like to ask you to help us by doing one really important thing: pray. As we continue to prepare and then set out on the trip, would you keep the following things on your prayer list? HEALTH AND SAFETY OF THE TEAM Thank you so much for your commitment to support this team! We look forward to all that God will do in us and through us! It's that spot that even when you check your mirrors isn't visible. If you don't, you might be in trouble. Just like in driving, we all have blind spots in our everyday lives - problems that we don't readily see or address, areas of danger in our lives that we don't often check or take stock of.
